Was Wally West ever The "Kid Flash" at one time? I was looking up some of Filmation's DC cartoons, and learned that in their Flash series, they had Barry Allen, (as Flash) and Wally West (as Kid Flash) Is this true?

Barry Allen was the Flash and Wally West was Kid Flash. When Barry died, Wally took on the name The Flash.

He died during the Crisis of Infinite Earths, along the same time Supergirl did, back in the 80s.

How did Supergirl come back, and did Wally west become the Flash at the same time that Barry Allen died? Also, did Barry Alen come back somehow in A storyline after "Crisis on Infinite Earths"?

The Pre-Crisis Supergirl doesn't exist anymore. No one even remembers her. The new one is (well, from the beginning at least, now I have no idea) a protoplasmic thingie from another universe, or something like that.
Barry died saving the world (or worlds at the time :)) in Crisis #8, and Wally decided to become the next Flash in Crisis #12.
There was a "Return of Barry Allen"-story in Flash around #75, I think. But I haven't read that, so I don't know what happened in it. And if someone is planning to tell about it in detail here, please use a spoiler warning

Now that you mention it, is the animated Supergirl made of protoplasm, or is she like the original? I remember looking at "The Death of Superman" comics, and in one panel, Doomsdsay punches Supergirl into a big pink blob. At that time, I thought it was wierd, and didn't know about this untill recently.

"the return of barry allen" in the flash comic was a pretty
cool storyline.
what everyone thought was barry allen in this story was really eobard thawn aka professor zoom aka the reverse flash coming to our era for the first time. he was all discombobulated from time travelling for the first time and believed he really was barry. the cool part is that the first flash that zoom ever faced was wally west, not barry allen. wally sends him back to the future which again discombobulates him and he doesn't even remember fighting wally. he only remembers his new found hatred for the flash.

Question... Superman was revamped after Crisis on Infinite Earths, in John Byrne's Man of Steel miniseries. So, does Supes even know who Barry Allen was in the current continuity? How could he, if Barry died in an event that occured before Supes' revamp?

After CoIE, everything was rebooted, including Barry Allen. He was a member of the original JLA with Aquaman, GL, Black Canary, and The Martian Manhunter. And Superman did know that Barry was The Flash, because all of the original JL members didn't keep their civillian ID's secret from each other, except for Superman and Batman.

I wanted to pick of Crisis on Infinite Earths, but it was like $30. But I picked up Green Arrow: Quiver, so maybe I'll getCrisis on Infinite Earths in the future. I was gonna get No Man's Land, but the 5 books plus Catalycsm(spelling?) was gonna be like $70+. Thats a little expensive.

STAS version of Supergirl is **not** protoplasm or any of the other stupid things they did with the character Post-Crisis (thank god and Bruce Timm)
S P O I L E R A L E R T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She's Kara In-Ze who is from Argo which is a planet that was in the same galaxy as Krypton and was caught in the wake of its explosion.
Her family put themselves into suspended animation because the damage to the atmosphere and the planet itself was killing off what few survivors remained.
On a journey to the place where Krypton once existed, Superman (in space-suit and piloting his now retrofitted rocket thanks to Prof. Hamilton) found the distress call from Argo calling out from behind the sea of green death that was once Krypton.
Superman followed the signal to Argo which had become a frozen wasteland and inside a lab where the In-Ze family stasis pods were. A holgram of Karas mother tells Superman what happened to the planet. Sadly, the pods malfunctioned and all the In-Ze family were dead, except for the one lone pod that held 13 year old Kara.

Actually in "Little Girl Lost" Superman says that he was searching through the debris of Krypton when he received the distress call from Argos, which was in the same solar system as Krypton. If it wasn't in the same system, and thus under the same red sun (which also implies that the Argosians are an off shoot of the Kryptonians) than how does one explain Supergirl having the exact same powers as Superman?
The rest is correct, except for the fact that Supergirl is about 16, not 13.
