i don't know anything about disney music. i'm thinking about buying this cd for my sister's birthday (she's turning 8 and she is obsessed with disney). should I get it?

Get something with songs from the actual movie soundtracks. Not a CD full of nobody tween wannabes singing covers of these classics.

I agree with Darth Gonzo on this. I would suggest instead you buy her a Disney's Greatest CD volume 1, 2, or 3.
