A lovely Colombian lingerie model is suspected of using her curvaceous colleagues as drug mules in an international cocaine ring, the London Daily Mail reported yesterday.
Angie Sanselmente Valencia, 30, was named in an international arrest warrant for allegedly masterminding the all-female operation based in Argentina, the Mail said.
Valencia's "angels," as she reportedly called her cocaine couriers, were all "nice but not flashy," according to the Mail story.
Each was paid about $5,000 per trip from Buenos Aires to Britain.
Valencia, whose last known address was a tony Buenos Aires hotel, remains at large with her beloved Pomeranian dog nearly two months after her operation began to implode.
The voluptuous Valencia, named Queen of Coffee in her native Colombia in 2000, apparently moved into stronger stimulants last year after quitting her modeling career.
She entered the lucrative drug trade after splitting with her boyfriend, a Mexican druglord known as The Monster, the Mailsaid.
Valencia's mules allegedly brought the drugs from Argentina to Cancun, and then on to England.
According to the Mail, cocaine-laden models were boarding a flight from Buenos Aires every day as part of the operation.
The December arrest of a 21-year-old courier with more than 100 pounds of cocaine in her luggage exposed the drug ring, with the suspect quickly implicating three others.
The first suspect reportedly made no attempt to hide the drugs inside her bags, leading authorities to suspect the ring had help from employees at Ezeiza International Airport.
