What is the status of the original negatives to the Paramount cartoons as well as the live action shorts?

Several of the Paramount cartoons that I own on video, have the original Paramount titles....
*Indicates newly restored film prints
WINNER BY A HARE *
THE PLOT SICKENS
A LAMB IN A JAM *
IN THE NICOTINE
STUPIDSTITIOUS CAT
THE INQUISIT VIST
MUCH ADO ABOUT MUTTON *

Now regarding the Harveytoon library (1950 -1961) now that the company is history, I would believe whoever are the new copyright owners just might fully restore the cartoons, back to the original Paramount titles...

The original negatives should be taken care of, and for the record, I believe they should be placed in the Paramount film vaults.

Is anyone at Viacom working on getting the restoration started yet?

There's also two Herman & Katnip cartoons that have their original titles. They're "Rail-Rodents" and "Hide and Peak". These were also restored prints.

www.harvey.com, which my favorite search engine still comes up with when I ask for "Sunland Entertainment", the company's most-recently-reported name, is still around, but have apparently closed their press-release area, leaving no clues there. Doesn't King Features still hold partial merchandising rights to their characters?
