Is it just me, or did Warner Bros. droped the ball on promting the Powerpuff Girls movie. First they said the trailer would appear infront of Ice Age, but it's nowhere to be found. Then they said it would air on the Fancy Anvil Awards show, and again, it's nowhere to be found. Yet we see clips from the show being used in Blade 2. Are they doing this in hopes that Men In Black 2 will succeed so that Kids WB will get a new Men In Black 2 series? (That dosen't make any sence at all. Why not just make more episodes of the existing series, or what's left of it?) I hope Craig & Company get A trailer out, and fast! (I know they made one earlier to tie in with Harry Potter, but the suits rejected it) Spider-Man, or Episode 2 will be their last chance to get the word out with this movie. Otherwise, their going to repeat the same mistake that they did with Iron Giant. I guess studio executives are dumber than inner city youths.

I think WB will only have a trailer with Scooby Doo, and that's about it. Like anyone's going to see THAT.
Yeah, the movie's in danger. But I'm sure Cartoon Network is more pissed off than anybody. This is their one chance to branch off into a brand new field of development, movies, and WB is hiding their efforts. Actually, I think CN and WB have always hated each other, and the only reason PPG was given to Kids WB was in the most desperate need for exposure.
But the real losers are the fans. People that have waited 18 months for new episodes of a show, and now it looks like the future of the show is in jeopardy.. they're already pre-producing season 5, but I don't know anymore if Season 5 will ever make it past that stage...we'll have to wait and see. If PPG bombs miserably, the show would face cancellation...

Yeah, I know what you mean, I feel like a loser for reporting that trailer for Ice Age. Oh, well, not every story turns out right.

*gets tempted to mention something to the effect of "But you ARE a looser" but remembers the DZ is a Mod, so keeps his mouth shut.*
All I can say is, What is the deal with AOL? Do they like Nick getting all of the cartoon movie money?
*sigh*
Don't feel bad DZ...AOL got you, just like the get everyone. =[

AOL likes it when Nick gets all the cartoon movie money? If that's the case, Time Warner should sell AOL to Viacom is that's how they want to play it. Do any of you get the feeling that Warners is helping the competition in this cinerio? That dosen't make any sence. It's like giving your secterts to the enemy.

It's that Moutain Dew commercial with the wooden children:
"We've been hosed, Tommy. We've been hosed."

*sigh* How depressingly typical.
Craig M. & Co. deserve much better!

Ironically, I'm wondering if some of the episodes will get past the censors at Kids WB? "Mommy Fearest" has A small "condom" reference when Buttercup says "some of these", and in the unaired episode, "Knock It Off" the scientist is named "Dick Hardly". I sure hope A trailer dose come out before too long.

Well, it's never established that "these" are condoms, since they aren't shown. The producers could respond to any complaints by saying, "What makes you so sure those weren't breath mints?"

Also, you'll notice a box of "These" in the grocery store. They're cookies.
Heh. I was the first to spot that one, and it wasn't until last summer. Funny, eh?

And here i was worried that this movie would be overhyped to the point of not watching it when WB wont even air the trailer and the hype arround that miserable mutt will probably begin next month or May

Although I'm pretty sure your being sarcastic, Time warner dosn't own AOL, the two are a merged corp.

On an up side, there is a PPG movie promo on the new Samurai Jack DVD...

Yes, but it's also on "Meet The Beat-Alls". Originally, they were going to put the official trailer on the Samurai Jack disc, but they didn't. However, I did learn that Warner Bros. will have A trailer up next Monday on the official movie web site. Here's hoping against hope.

Forget about the freaken trailer! I just want to know what the plot is!
Maybe Matt is right, they are trying to dispute, thus causing the PPG to go down. Also, I think Nick will reign supreme with the worst of sh*t and force garbage like "Rocket Power" down our freaken throuts. That is why I am trying to convince ABC to keep it's Sat. AM lineup and CTN to renew the contracts for "Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy" and "Courage, the Cowardly Dog", so kids can see REAL cartoons and dump Nick's raw sewage. However, I don't know if ABC will take my advice seriously or if kids will get their eyes off of the junk, but it's worth a try.
Maybe some WBTVA guy will make up a REAL extreme sports series and revive decent characters, like Yogi, Huck, Snagglepuss, even Auggie Doggie.

If Di$ney, and ABC want to stay in the game, then the're going to have to make shows that are just as good as what use to be on The Disney Afternoon, but I don't think that's going to happen any time soon. However, If Nick wants to make more movies, why not give Spongebob, Fairy Odd Parents, or Invader Zimm A movie? It's worth A shot.

I know *something* about the plot. As anyone who's visited the CN PPG Movie website knows, it's largely flashback to the time when the Girls first decided to become Superheros, and Mojo Jojo launched his (not unconnected) Supervillain career.
Then there's some items I gathered from more obscure PPG sites, and from Chats with a few 'inside' people.
The Girls initially get in Townsville's bad books, when they destroy part of it during a flying tag game. But they redeem themselves when they defeat Mojo's first takeover plot, which involves recruiting an army of apes to attack the city.
It's also known that there's going to be some changes in the cast's appearance.
Most noticably in Mojo Jojo's case; he's got a more lean-and-pointed look in the movie, and I'm reliably informed that's how he'll look in the cartoon and comic books from now on. Personally, I don't care for the change- I think it makes him look like a baboon, and we all know how he feels about that comparison!
Durn, I'm getting impatient for this movie to come out!

I just saw the trailer. It's really cute. Click on the News section (I can't remember the URL for it off the top of my head)

I 've noticed how their heads look bigger now. Blossom's bow looks slightly modified as well. I like your new Mojo Jojo avitar from the movie. How did you screen capture A clip from RealPlayer? Sometimes the picture quality on those files can look pixilated with A choppy frame rate. Do you have to buy RealPlayer instead of the one you download from their site? Please let me know.

I saw the Quicktime version at www.comingsoon.com because I was having trouble,so that's why it is in such good shape. It's very easy to take a picture off of a video or a web page on the computer. All you have to do is press the Print Scrn/ SysRq button and you can paste it on any paint program you have, like photoshop. Then you just crop it down to the picture you want and fix it up if you want to. No money involved. Oh yea, if the picture doesn't show off of a movie, you might want to put your pointer on the video picture it self. It's that easy :D !
