Anybody think this will be good? Judd Winick is better known to me for his work on Frumpy the Clown, a great comic strip to say the least, but how is his superhero writing for DC?

[Well, since I despise Winick and his work, I'd have to say "Nope, I don't think it looks very good." Not to mention the fact he's just doing a story that has been done int he animated universe so many times already - nice job on the original ideas there, Winick!

I've read all of his Green Lantern run so far, and while it's had its moments, overall I think it's pretty average. He's reunited Kyle with his ex-girlfriend Jade (the green chick), made her a Green Lantern too, and also outed Kyle's assistant. That's about all the significant stuff I can remember. I'm not sure if I'll keep getting it.

Hmmm...my initial elation over the Harley/Ivy comic is subsiding. I don't think I will be getting it. It appears to be a bone tossed out in a lame attempt to TRY to satisfy those of us who want to see this project done right, with Bruce Timm at the helm.

the comic looks pretty cool...

but just in case you didn't know..you posted it on the wrong board.. no biggie though..I don't really care... (it just upsets the mods....lol).

I personally would like one of them big comic books (War On Crime for instance), all drawn by Alex Ross, and the story by Paul Dini..but a Batman Beyond story with Blight..man..that would so kick.

Yeah, DG said I was banished! :)

Well, Harley IS in Batman Beyond ROTJ, so its kinda applicable in a stretching kind of way!

Okay, I know, no all-caps cuz it looks like yelling, but in this case there's nothing else to do. . . .

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE TIMM/DINI H&I?

My heart leaped up when I saw the title of this thread; now I'm just baffled.

The Timm/Dini H&I is still "in the works".

I personally think DC is trying to trick us here! Even if this thing was going to be really good for sure, I would hesitate to buy it on principle alone. Timm/Dini's comic should be first or there should be none at all!

The Timm/Dini comic's getting to be like "The Flying Dutchman." It pops up on the horizon, sails by in ghostly glory, and vanishes as soon as you rub your eyes.

Actually, its not DC's fault the Dini/Timm comic isn't out yet - its the fault of Dini and Timm (and/or whoever else is helping out with the art). They haven't finished it yet, so DC doesn't have anything to publish.

Oh, does Shane Glines still have it? (That was the last delay I heard about). OK, Shane is way cool, so all is forgiven. :)

Yep, that's the last I heard about it too - but that was a month or so ago.

You're still more up to speed than I am; it was a year ago the last time I heard Shane still had it.

BTW, does anyone know what happened to his site? I've been getting an "Unable to locate the server" message for the past few days.
