I recognize that this could be a "Marvel" question but I consider it a "Retro" question because Spider Woman was made before Freelang-DePatie (or is it: DePatie-Freelang?) sold to Marvel (or what became Marvel). Anyway, does anyone know where the show obtained their sound effects? Some sounds in this short series were re-used alot but I like the effects such as a sound whenever there was a robot or machine and also the lazer sounds. Some of the effects seemed to come from other studios such as Hanna Barbera too. (generator sound):)

I believe some of those sound effects that you heard in episodes of Spider-Woman, produced by DePatie-Freleng, were also heard in some Pink Panther cartoons in the 1970's. I also believe Marvel Films later used those same sound effects in both the original TransFormers and G.I. Joe. Footnote about Spider-Woman- in addition to being the last animated program on Saturday morning, produced by DePatie-Freleng, Joan Van Ark of Knots Landing fame, was the voice behind Spider-Woman. It's a real shame that David H. DePatie and Friz Freleng didn't produce more animated sci-fi/fantasy/adventure programs when they were in operation.

I agree.....I thought That their Spider-Woman series was done extremely well. Their "What's New Mr. Magoo" was good too.

What David DePatie should have did was once the Marvel people came on board, continue the Spider-Woman series under the Marvel Productions banner for two more seasons, segueing into Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, where Spider-Woman could have made an appearance on his show.

I would have loved to have seen what Jessica thought of Angelica Jones wearing a Spider-Woman costume.
