No offense, Brian, but wouldn't it just be easier to just put up a link to Google's newsgroups? You can post over there if you register.

Are you sure that viewing even works? It says there were no new posts in 6 and a half days.

Well, what I gathered from Brian's post was that posting capabilities are on the way..just be patient.

(hrm, now, if only I could get Brian to add a link to alt.games.nintendo.pokemon........)

Also, google is SLOW. Sure, it'll post your post, but you won't be able to see it till they re-archive every 6-8 hours...

I just made a post to it (not from here, though) to see how quickly it shows up, can anyone else see it?

I did that a couple days ago, and it sort of works. It was a neat
effect, thanks for mentioning it.

Messages are downloaded from the newsgroup every 10 minutes (on the 5's of every hour).

To answer dendawg's question, yes, it would be easier for me to just add a link to Google. But I didn't add the newsgroup for me, I added it for you guys. It's easier to read and post to the newsgroup from here than by going to another site. And many people wouldn't bother with the newsgroup, or even know that it exists, if it wasn't located here as well.

And to reply to Pilmedium's post... the WB newsgroup doesn't get a lot of traffic. Up until Jack's post, there really hadn't been any posts in several days (except for some spam which I deleted).

The WB newsgroup tends to get most of it's post either when someone posts a topic that a lot of people have the answer(s) for, or when someone hits a nerve with their statement and sparks a series of replies. Other times, the board is either quiet or mostly newsgroup spam (which Brian happily has filtered out).
