I've said it before and I'll say it again, NO Hawkman! Hawkgirl only works here as a solo act. If Hawkman is introduced, people will say - as they often did in the comics in the past - why do we need both. Then they will say why didn't you give us the original to begin with. Hawkgirl becomes redundant and unnecessary.

I think we need a story with Hawkman...just one where he comes to earth to help his ex-wife Hawkgirl, and the Justice League out with a invasion or something. One episode wouldn't make Hawkgirl redundant.

NO Plastic Man -- I always hated that character. He belongs on that superhero mini-show on Dexter's Laboratory more than he belongs on Justice League. He's like a walking Tex Avery cartoon...

NO Captain Marvel -- We already have our gods/mythology fix with Wonder Woman. Besides, 'Captain Mavel' sounds like a spoof of Marvel Comics to me.

I voted Darkseid. Hawkman making one appearance wouldn't hurt. Neither would Kyle Rainer making one appearance. And I guess I could go for a 'Young Justice League' or 'Teen Titans' episode of Justice League -- as long as they did it right. The last thing you want to do is introduce The Wonder Twins, Marvin & Wendy, or characters as stupid and corny as they were -- that would kill Justice League's credibility as a series that takes the DC Universe seriously.

I voted for the good Captain Marvel. We will be seeing Thanagar eventually, as well as Darkseid I'm sure. Plastic Man has been done, and I wouldn't mind if they threw him in as a cameo or something. Green Arrow I think is being done as a Batman team-up DTV so we'll see how that's done. Young Justice is just ridiculous right now. First there's a Teen Titans proposal, now people want Young Justice? I don't get that. Besides can't be done quite yet, it would take too much to explain a Superboy and an Impulse.

So, Captain Marvel gets my vote. I know the Gods thing has been done, but so what. I just think he's one of those classic characters that needs an updating badly. He hasn't been seen in about 25 years already in outside comicbook media. Let's give him one two-parter and move on.

I voted for Green Arrow because we already know that Darkseid is showing up, plus I have no real interest in seeing Hawkman or Young Justice. Captain Marvel gets a close second, however.

but hey, i wouldn't mind seeing thanagar either.
now that i think about it, hawkgirl was sent here via zeta beams
right? doesn't the zapped person get sent back to the point of
origin after so much time has passed? this would send her back
to thanagar with the JL following. they could save thanagar from
some threat, JL gets sent back to earth via zeta beam with HG accidentally coming back with them.

Darkseid is confirmed to appear in season 2, as such I voted for Green Arrow.
