Hey folks, I'm looking to trade some laser disc cartoons onto video tape for some rare uncut MGM cartoons from the laser disc MGM Boxed set .

I'll be willing to trade some of mine disc collection to transfer onto video.

If anyone has the follwing Laser Disc MGM Boxed Sets, here they are titles that I'm seeking:

1.THE ART OF TOM & JERRY (Boxed Set)

2.THE COMPLETE TEX AVERY (Boxed Set)

3.HAPPY HARMONIES (Boxed Sets)

I just looking for serveral uncut & uncensored MGM cartoons from each of the three sets, that I just mentioned...

My laser collection as follows:

GOLDEN AGE OF LOONEY TUNES VOL. 2 (Boxed Set)

GOLDEN AGE OF LOONEY TUNES VOL.4(Boxed Set)

MIKCEY MOUSE:THE B&W YEARS "UNCUT AND UNCENSORED" COLLECTION: (1928-1935) (Boxed Set)

CARTOONS THAT TIME FORGOT:THE VAN BUEREN STUDIOS CARTOONS (Single two sided disc)

So maybe we can make some kind of a deal, I have a lot of great rare, and I mean very rare cartoons and also UNCUT & UNCENSORED cartoons that are banned from tv and now Video, is a real special treat to have in your collection.
So jut let me know okay fellas?

Best Wishes!!!

"Droopy's Good Deed" and one other cartoon on the Tex Avery LD set are cut (the title of it escapes me at the moment). And on the Art of Tom & Jerry set, "Saturday Evening Puss" and "His Mouse Friday" are cut. Since no other cartons on those sets are edited, MGM must not have been able to find unedited copies anywhere.

Then they probably didn't try hard enough, at least in the case of SATURDAY NIGHT PUSS. I've got an uncut (or unaltered) super 8mm print that dates from the late'70s/early '80s. As this was distributed by MGM Home Entertainment (or whatever they called themselves back then), I would think an original negative, or print, must be in the vaults SOMEWHERE.

BTW, last night I lost out on a bid for a 16mm UNCUT print of DROOPY'S GOOD DEED on ebay. It went for over 150.00!! I could've cried...
