Here is a report on what happened on today's ACME HOUR for July 5, 2001...
Theme: Wild And Crazy Pets
1. "The Bear And The Hare" (Barney Bear, MGM)--Culprit: A white rabbit who disappears in snow.
2. "Wood-Peckin'" (Popeye, Paramount; redrawn)--Culprit: A woodpecker, always hacking away at our hero.
3. "Pizzkato Pussycat" (one-shot, Merrie Melodie, WB)--Culprit: a tiny house mouse trying to ruin a cat's piano performance.
4. "Art Gallery" (one-shot, MGM/Hugh Harman Productions)--Culprit: the three "See No Evil" monkeys. Although this is officially a one-shot, this is the second appearance of the three monkeys after a previous appearance in a "Happy Harmony".
5. "The Sneezing Weasel" (one-shot, Merrie Melodie [re-issue print without credits], WB with AAP front logo, non-dubbed)--Culprit: the title character.
6. "Bird-Brain, Bird-Dog" (Barney Bear, MGM)--Culprit--a bird our hero is trying to do away with.
All were simulcast in Spanish/Espanol except for "Pizzkato Pussycat".
