wow. my first post. so yeah, u guys can call me firefoxprime, or fox for short. lol here's my lil list of upcoming shows:
Comedy:
Regular Show: hilarious. truly hilarious. reminded me a lil of spongebob, but more mature (finally). fav character so far is Pops. kinda creepy high pitched voice, but makes u laugh ur pants off lol. the slow pace of the show...and as it escalates to a catastrophic situation...is genius.
Adventure Time: I'll be honest with you. i only discovered this series 2 weeks ago. and i've watched it "atleast" 5 times. i cant help but giggle at the smart dialogue. of course this show isnt for everyone. regular show will reach out to a broader demographic. but adventure time feels like an instant classic hehe. I love jake. crazy dog. interestingly enough, his voice actor played as a dog before: american dragon "jake" long (hehe) the scruffy lookin magical dog.
Action:
you know...i'm honestly surprised i have yet to have found a ben 10 thread yet. but maybe that's because the fans swarm to dwayne mcduffie's site *guilty* lol.
Generator Rex: man....after continuous searching for info on this show, those man of action dudes really have been tight lipped on this new series. I'm really excited about it. Just looking at those 3 current pictures of Rex and his organization crew ppl, just screams epicishness lol. Art design is sweet, not sure why but kind gives me a feel of megas xlr(no complainin there :P) i believe i saw a monkey guy with a blaster pistol and a cigar...and i'm lovin the combo. especially that cn is lettin that cigar slide. think back to all those 4kids dubs....*shivers*
Sym-Bionic Titan: another show about giant robots? oh my....haha. This show also looks promising, and the creator is the creator of samurai jack? who the creator of dexter's lab? wow....now i'm really excited. of course even less info on this series. so i can simply wait it out.
Ben 10: Ultimate Alien: now...do i really need to say anything about this? no? fine. i wont.
lol. i'm lovin this place already.
yeah, so evolutions is just another wait out as well...but lets remember. most of us thought episode "busy box" was the last episode of the season/series...even republibot 3.0 thought so as well lol, so its good to see AF end with a bang ; )
Batman TBTB: was kind offish at the beginning of the series, (plastic man is nice for comic relief but i want some action!) his redeeming episode in my opinion was "Long Arm of the Law". second season is runnin. strong. some ppl might be turned off by this earlier version of batman, but i'm lovin the dry wit. even my own generation (batman:TAS), but as i've said before. gotta be open to new things. and you'll find life a lil bit more fullfilling :P
Hero:108 : nice action. a sweet blend between xiolin showdown and pucca. cartoon network co-produced it, so here's to hoping they'll advertise it as much as ben10: alien swarm. Creators are moonscoop(creators of Code Lyoko)

COMEDY:
Adventure Time: I saw the original short on Random! Cartoons and I found it too trippy and random for my tastes. But I've been reading and seeing more about the show in the past several months and I am getting more intrigued by it. Maybe the series will wow me more than the short did.
Regular Show: I still haven't seen hide nor hair of it, though I've been hearing things. I admit, I'm curious to see what a show with a living gumball machine as a character will be like.
I'm also looking forward to Gumball. It sounds silly, weird and fun.
ACTION:
Batman: The Brave & the Bold: I like this show's blend of Silver Age corniness and obscure characters. I kind of wish that we had gotten a DC Comics Presents show rather than yet another Batman vehicle, but in truth it's the other DC stars who are meant to get the spotlight.
Hero: 108: When I saw the first few seconds of the trailer, I was loving this concept: an fantasy Eastern based society with Pucca-style animation where humans and animals co-exist as equals. It sounded like cute fun. But then they got to the part where the High Roller turned the animals against the humans and took over and the show degenerated into a Sonic SatAM style premise about a band of underground rebels hid away in their camp attempting to overthrow the big bad every week, and my enthusiasm went right out the window. I still plan to catch the first few episodes of Hero: 108 before passing sentence on it, but I have to say I'm just not feeling this one right now. I want to like it, but we'll have to wait and see.
The other shows don't sound like anything I'd personally go out of my way to watch, so I won't comment on them.

"regular show" pfff...what kind of title is that? but i finally checked it out, and to my surprise its really funny. once again, all about the creativity and smart writing/dialogue. i can see how adventure time would turn you off :P probably a lil diff for me, since i saw it this january with all the hype, and you saw it as a short on nick. trust me. regular show will definetly pull you in.
and yeah. your right. batman and spiderman have been hogging all the spot light. dc's comic presents? thats what i'm talking about! i'm loving the corniness and silver age feel to it. i'm only 19 so my version of batman will be tim burton, and b:tas, beyond, the batman (ugh. that show was *okay*) i love how it shows its silver age "age" but still has modern graphics, and animation. fav eps so far....(The Eyes of Despero, Deep Cover fo Batman, Night of the Huntress, to name a few

Regular Show: I managed to see the pilot back when all the Cartoonstitute shorts got put on YouTube for awhile, and I loved it. A really refreshing, laid-back style of comedy.
Adventure Time: I'm excited to see this one. The original short was great, as have been Pen Ward's Flapjack episodes and the short clips of the show that have been airing. I'm also glad to see that CN is really trying to promote this one.
Generator Rex: I haven't seen much on this one, but I'm feeling pretty neutral towards it. On one hand the art has a really cool style to it, but on the other it's being created by Man of Action, and both Ben 10 shows have just been "meh".
Sym-Bionic-Titan: This is the one I'm most excited about, and I mean pumped. Come on, Genndy-effin'-Tartakovsky!

So far the shows on my list are Adventure Time, Regular Show, Gumball, Hero: 108, Symbionic Titan, and Generator Rex as for why, here they are
Adventure Time- Remember seeing the Random Cartoon short for it and liking how loose the art style was and how funny it was. After reading bits and pieces on the official AT blog, I don't want to spoil myself so much, I am definitely looking forward to it.
Regular Show- Remember seeing this short when all the Cartoonstitue shorts were leaked, it was one of the few shorts on the list that I watched and enjoyed.
Gumball- After seeing Huntsman post more and more info about it, the show feels like it could be one of the funniest shows that CN has aired.
Hero: 108- I thought the trailer for this was fun, reminded me of Skunk-Fu and Xiaolin Showdown, two shows that I do like. Since they do hope to make this one into a hit what with a video game and some merchandise around the corner as well, I'm willing to give it a shot
I would write something Generator Rex and Sym-bionic Titan, but I haven't been following these series lik the other one I listed.

oh and good news on generator rex. to that "meh" its gonna have a completely different feel to it. you'll see what i mean when the trailer comes out hehe
YouAreHere is lookin pretty sweet :D, wonder what's gonna happen to the noods...

Adventure Time-I honestly can't wait for the show. It caught my eyes when I first saw it and I compared the short when it first aired on Nickelodeon and the animation has improved. Vivid and colorful.
Sym-Bionic Titan-Watching this for my dude Genndy Tartakovsky and for the action, the pictures look great but I want some more. I'm kind of concerned about the show. I wonder sometimes if they're working on there. And when I get that feeling I just want to yell at them. Anyways, this show is gonna be fantastic!
Generator Rex-I can predict that this show is about a gang fighting evil and kicking butt! I like. And I hope they have a Ben 10 crossover. That will be awesome!
Ben 10: Evolutions-Hope Ben gets new and more awesome aliens! I hope it will have better storylines. This and those two shows above this post is gonna give a big impact to You Are Here. I hope.

I believe it’s Cartoon Network’s second international production – and the first one with their new European development studio. I could be mistaken, but I believe Hero: 108 was their first international production, with Cartoon Network UK and Mike Young Productions being the major backers while the series is actually made in Taiwan by Gamania.
It’s good to see Cartoon Networks collaborating with one another. If anything, both Hero: 108 and The Amazing World Of Gumball should be different than most of the network’s other animated programs.

really? i new it was on nick as a short...but i didnt know they tweaked it. but then again, i never saw it back then, only in the recent weeks. and yeah man...only 2 pics? *snarls* atleast rex gave us "3" lol jk.
i'm feelin the epicness from these shows. its like going on a huge roller coaster...and you experience that extremely slow....feeling, that continues to rise and rise as you finally reach the top, and blaze down the tracks :p
ben 10 crossover? now your talkin! so true dude...You Are Here is gonna finally *blossom* lol into a full action/adventure block. with batman:tbtb, clone wars(its okay...), even TSS. and in those 3 new series and we might have somethin here. maybe hoping YouAreHere could even become a 2hour weekday block. could show some reruns from past action series CN still owns rights to like justice league, maybe teen titans...old ben 10 and ben 10:af, from monday through thursday, and the new episode premieres on friday...hmm

Thanks chief. and your right. its always good to combine thoughts and entertaining ideas...because thats were the creativity lies...:p
I see you kinda have a soft spot for those two, hehe i believe they'll succeed. especially since hero:108 has so much riding on it. seeing shows like chowder and even flapjack(as weird as it is...lol) are all creative, and bring something new to the table, and if not new, something old with a sweet twist to it. really opens the doors for new shows like these

Comedy
Adventure Time- The pilot wasn't impressive, I like the music and the dog's VA I instantly recognized as FU Dog from Jake Long, but looking at the story boards and hearing all the hype I'm getting pretty excited for it myself.
Regular Show- I loved the Cartoonstitute Short, and the character's chemistry. I'm looking forward to this show and hope that it doesn't fall flat on its face plot wise.
Gumball- After everything I've been hearing about this show, the combination of live action, 2D and 3D animation, I couldn't be more excited for this show.
FlapJack-This show has been getting better and better as it progresses, and I'm hoping that this new season will continue that growth Sally Syrup returns next season :] I wonder how that will go?
Action
Ben 10 Evolutions- I was impressed with the tone of Ben 10: Alien force compared to the original Ben 10. B10:AF felt more like a sci-fi alien show compared to the original Ben 10, which admitedly felt more like a fantasy show with an arrogant protagonist not unlike Jake Long season 1. So I'm looking forward to Evolutions to see how things get mixed up this time around.
Batman:TBATB- A creative and fun spin on the Batman/DC universe. I'm not a fan of Batman or the DC universe but this is simply amazing.
Symbionic Titan, Generator Rex, Hero 108, and Horror Bots- I have both heard and seen too little of these shows to really have an opinion.

Adventure Time: Not much I could add to the pre-release hype this has been getting here. The short and the series bible have already turned me into a big fan. This show is absurd in a way that is so likable and endearing instead of being annoying or meanspirited, and it seems to capture the sense of pure wonder which many cartoons of the 2000s have lacked in their misguided attempts at being "hip and edgy". This needs to be a big hit so CN will continue to greenlight more original concepts like this.
Regular Show: The Cartoonstitute pilot is very funny. The laidback tone really distinguishes it from the obnoxious shouting and in-your-face gags of so many contemporary cartoons, and I see this being a fitting companion to Adventure Time the same way that Chowder and Flapjack are. I'm also curious to see how they develop the core premise and cast for an episodic series.
Sym-Bionic Titans: Excited simply because it's Genndy Tartakovsky, arguably the Spielberg of modern cable animation. But I have steep reservations about the "high school drama" which was touted on last year's Upfront synopsis... hopefully the writing won't be mired with one-note stereotypes and cliches.
Generator Rex: The pre-release art looks neat (and pretty dark). Not really a Ben 10 fan which is the creators' previous animated work, but I'll give this a shot. This will be fantastic if it maintains a consistent continuity and strong characterizations ala TSS.
Horrorbots: Kinda funny that this show hasn't even been mentioned here yet. Compared to the above 4 shows which are receiving lots of pre-release buzz, this doesn't look like anything special except maybe for the fact that it's from the makers of Superjail (which means absolutely nothing to me as I despise most of AS' so-called "originals"). Not to mention that Genndy's SymBionic Titans is ALREADY about robots in a school setting, so...
The Amazing World of Gumball: Looks sweet from the early glimpses of info, though I understand this show is still years away from actually being seen anywhere. Hope they air it stateside once it's ready.

Adventure Time: A show that I can't wait for. It's randomness and comedy style has just got me hooked.
Regular show: Like what fox said, like spongebob but with a more mature feel to it. Looks like it will be a hilarious show.
Symbiotic-titans: Haven't really heard much information to say anything but hey, gigantic fighting robots sounds awesome!
Generator Rex: again, haven't heard much but the artwork makes me think its going to be one heck of a show.
The amazing world of Gumball: I haven't heard any info on this show, so I have no idea. can someone plz explain to me what this show is about and is it a CC original series?
Ben 10 evolutions: This one is the one i'm most excited for!!!!!!! I have been a ben 10 fan ever since it came out back in 05 and I love it!!!!
I also can't wait to see how these shows are going to affect Fusion Fall

There really isn't too much to say that I havn't already said but Here gose...
Regular Show I'm impressed by what they've done so far, alot of the elements of the show are original and the I like the characters so far, but it's too early for to say anything to deep about it.
Symbionic Titan Again since there really there isn't much about it... yet, I don't have much to say about it, but I have yet to meet a production by Gendy that I didn't like and the mecha part hooked me from the begining.

Just to correct you guys Evolutions is not Ben 10's final title, this name's merely a placeholder. According to another board I'm member at; Dwayne Mcduffie, the new name will be --wait for it-- ben 10: Ultimate Alien. And it's also been confirmed by Greg Cipes (voice of Kevin).
Amazon prepared several items. One item is a book based on Ultimate Alien. Titled: Galaxy Wars (synopsis on Amazon.com)
Though, the only series I'm interested is ben 10: Ultimate Alien. It'd be interesting to see how the story unfolds.

i believe this thread is perfectly acceptable at this point.
seeing as how our beloved new series are approaching us
past that big beautiful horizon: April 2010.
so lets update our info since we can actually "see" what our
new shows are going to look like animated erhm *Gen Rex*
after hearing these disney + nick upfronts, CN delt a nice hand waiting for late april to release their new info.
imo regardless of the new shows on nick and disney later in the year...
the HarHar/YAH blocks are about to embrace their serious potential and CN is gonna "take it to the next level"

Cartoon Network has vested interest in their original productions. The 3rd party acquisitions, not so much. In fact, in some cases, Toon will have to grudgingly take on a show that they're not especially interested in just because it happens to be packaged with a show that they really want.

woah.
awesome stuff dude. seriously.
Comedy:
Regular Show: saw the pilot. as i've said before in my "first" post, its like
a more mature version of spongebob. definetly welcomed.
TotalDramaWT: alot of ppl complain about the Canadian "takeover" http://www.toonzone.net/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif
with so many series based on teenage life, i can't
complain. we can all relate to those years hehe. i'll
never about smart writing/dialogue.
loved Island, Action- meh. too long of a break, and
took 8 eps to get me to care about the characters
again. World Tour looks awesome. only person that
irks me is that fangirl...ugh. gives that annoying vibe.
Robotomy: i like the concept. never watched superjail. http://www.toonzone.net/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif
yeah, we've seen xj9's teen life, but as we've witnessed
in the past...creative people can take old overused
concepts, and tweak/twist them.http://www.toonzone.net/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif
SecretMountain
Fort Awesome: i'm not sure how its related to Uncle Grandpa, but that
kinda kills the shows chances to allure me. i'm a casual
reasonable guy, so i'll definetly give the show a chance.
and not just "1" episdoe either.http://www.toonzone.net/forums/images/smilies/shrug.gif
Action:
Sym-Bionic Titan: those people are seriously keeping this series under
lock and key. teens in HS again? still lovin it. once a
creator has a great rep, his fanbase will support him
to the end. kinda missed 3 Dog Band. dude...i could
seriously relate to the tall skinny keyboard dog.
calculated and precise. thats mehttp://www.toonzone.net/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif
Young Justice: alright! you know what? i really do want this series to
be more along the vien of justice league instead of
Teen Titans. ppl keep complaining about its
"anime-vibe" but of course i'm an anime fan, so it
didnt bother me at the very least. also, while TT was
airing, other DC series, (Static Shock,Justice League)
were also being aired, so it wasnt as if there weren't
alternatives. didn't grow up on oldschool comic books,
so the series was fresh to me. But checking out young
justice pics from the previous comic series, i just love
the art designs...looking forward this. absolutely. i'm
wondering how they're going to air all these new
shows...YAH is only 2 hours...and with the losing of
9pm next year? i really did with they created a
weekday afternoon action block.
MetaJets: just watched an AMV online. i have to say, the
animation as stated earlier is beautiful...looks similiar
to AlphaTeens onMachines (A.T.O.M)
i got it. StormHawks + A.T.O.M
Beyblade:
Metal Fusion> loved season 1. season 2 was a meh for me.
season 3 blew my mind away...its been 6 years since
Beyblade has hit or shores. i truly believe its time for
a revivalhttp://www.toonzone.net/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif i just hope they give this new one that
hardcore vibe from the earlier seasons. i know asking
for some revamped version of the old rock songs is
to "out there" but a man can dream.
Totally Spies
/AmazingSpies: i loved TS since its debut on fox family. I loved it
when TS continued airing on CN. now its returned,
and i couldnt be the more happier. i like "action" which
is why TS will always trump marvin mysteries. i've saw
one ep of amazing spies...its comic book style was
a challenge to get used to, so i'll give it another shot
this time around.
Live Action:
Unnatural History
/Tower Prep: looks promising. as i've said before. i hate live action
on CN as much as the next guy, but we've only had
2 outlets for live action. comedy and reality. a
scripted series with good acting, plot pace, decent
action sequences could do really well.

Wait, did some of you posting here actually go to this upfront, or are you just digging for info? Heck, if I had the right press-ties, I'd probably go myself, seeing as I'm pretty local to where they host it every year.
As for Regular Show, I never saw the pilot, but I DID see a short made about three years ago on Nicktoons Network for the Animation Festival featuring a character that looks a LOT like this lollipop-headed gentleman. I remember it being distinctly sketch-tastic and unfinished, but competently done. Is it the same creator?
We didn't get a Sym-Bionic promo during Ultimate Alien or Generator Rex? Wow.
..Maybe during the TS Movie?

As long as CN puts it in a good slot, sure.
