You know how some gamecube games were re-released for the wii under the word "new Play control"? I was sorta wondering about this...On a game that would be great for the Wii and for the selection of New Play control...Luigi's mansion. Like how long have been people been begging for a sequel? I personally think Nintendo should make Luigi's mansion as part of New play control....

It could even bring interest for a sequel. What do u think?

Yes. That and The Wind Waker. They seem like no brainers and I've been waiting months for it.

i think the Poltergust 3000 has great potential to work with the Wii Remote and Nunchuck, but I'd personally rather see a sequel than a remake. But a remake with some new crap added in would do.

Personally, I would only support this if Link was still a lefty (the Wii version of The Twilight Princess was mirror-imaged, making Link appear to be right-handed). After all, that's how Link is always portrayed.

As for Luigi's Mansion, I always did have trouble getting the gold frame for the "Eskimo guy" (can't recall his name at the moment) because of the icy floor. If done right, maybe, just maybe it could be easier with the Wii Remote...

No.

I want original games from Nintendo. If I want to play Luigi's Mansion, I get the Gamecube game and play the darn thing on my Wii.

They should have made a Luigi's Mansion 2 for the Wii ages ago, not just a port of the first game.

But it wouldn't play the same as it would with Wii controls added in.

But the games play just fine without the Wii controls. If a Wii port can REALLY benefit a game, like it did with Resident Evil 4, I'm all for it. If Wii controls don't really add anything to the game, I'd rather them just make something new in that particular series. Luigi's Mansion, in my opinion, doesn't seem like the kind of game that would really benefit from Wii controls.

Nor does Wind Waker, if Twilight Princess is any indication, as TP was basically a NPC! game ahead of its time.

That said, if Nintendo continues with the New Play Control! series (I haven't heard anything in regard to it since Jungle Beat and Pikmin came out) I could see Luigi's Mansion being one of the games they rerelease.
