Whats up with all the Wrestling posts? I remember one day, everything around the Toonzone boards were nice & calm...then the next day, BAM! Tons of Wrestling posts popped up outta no where. Personally..I can't stand wrestling..but, really...are there that many wrestling fans on these boards?
Edit: I just want to add, & make it clear that I'm not bashing it..I'm just saying it's suprizing that the boards use to have little to no mention of Wrestling, but now it's suddenly burst to life on the boards.

Hey, I'm not a fan either... but these guys are having what appears to be a good time, so I say more power to them!

I don't think I'm what you'd call a "fan", but I know a fair amount about wrestling, and I like to show-off my knowledge to all the boys :p . Lots of people don't like it, though, and the wrestling threads do seem to be spontaneously reproducing at an alarming rate.

I guess this is the only place for it, since there's no real other space for it except here.
I'm a fan, though. I guess I can't talk.

It's something people like. If you don't like it, you don't have to read the threads. Wrestling topics have every right to be here as any others- so long as they don't stifle other subjects (Like how the "crap" topics were burying the intelligent ones), but I don't think they're doing that.

I'm not saying its a bad thing...I'm just saying that a lot of posts about it popped up out of nowhere. I just find it very odd and..spuratic..I guess?

I don't mind THAT much...but it seems like NEW Wrestling threads are poping up everyday...There's Wrestling on every other day..do we need new threads for each show, plus trivia, WWF Chicks, etc?
Also, maybe this is just me...but shouldn't wrestling fall under anitainment, since it's Television?

Let's not turn this into a "What's the deal with wrestling/Wrestling is not a sport!" debate... we've had those and this is not what the topic is about.

I see what Jack is saying, and I noticed it too. I don't recall ever seeing this many wrestling threads on the AniGen board before the split. It's like one day we had a bunch of wrestling fans suddenly register and start posting!

it's just mainly because wrestling finally started getting really interesting again latley...the nwo and alot of other old faces started popping up months ago..so i guess alot of people just decided to start speaking up about it on here...i really had no idea there were so many wrestling fans like me on here. usually all the sci-fi/ comic and cartoon fans i come across have no interest or just downright bash wrestling and vise versa. i have a love of both worlds, so it's been really cool to find all these other fans popping up.

Right now I see 4 wrestling topics(5 if you count this) on the front page.

While certainly without other fans none of this would've taken off, but I like to take pride in the fact that this all started with "The WWF Trivia Thread!" I put up in February to celebrate my 300th post. So I guess you could say this is my fault.

And right now I see 6 video game topics on the front page. What's your point?
It only seems like a lot of wrestling topics if you don't like wrestling. But if it DOES bother a lot of people, I guess it can be asked to be toned down.
Mind you, I don't care for wrestling either.

That brings up a bad question and a big can of worms, with all due respect.
If a group of people thought video games were stupid, would there be talk about limiting those threads? Sometimes even I think there get to be a few too many wrestling threads, but that doesn't mean that they should be censored provided the content falls within the rules of the boards. If there is no interest in a thread it promptly falls to the bottom of the page and then to page 2 "out of sight, out of mind" in many cases. That decides what threads do well and which ones don't.
This really shouldn't actually bother anyone. If I see a post and it doesn't interest me I skip over it. If a post say "WWF" is the title and a person doesn't like wrestling, then I recommend you skip over it. I really don't care for Pokemon or Digemon or any of those sort of things, but I don't complain or even bring it up I just skip over it. I don't watch "24" does that mean members who do shouldn't be able to talk about it? The diversity of the interests of the members of these boards is what makes them interesting. That should not be changed or otherwise affected.
