I know it's been a while since the creators of the animated Batman universe sent in their three mysterious scripts to WB to be greenlighted and I think this topic has been discussed before, but I think it warrants being discussed again.
If you could write some Batman DTV's. What would they be about and what style would they be in?
I have many ideas and I'll share a few now:
The Riddler gains the Scarecrow as an ally in his quest to prove himself smarter than Batman. A subplot shows Batgirl having a problem not sharing her secret identity with her father and the Scarecrow takes advantage of that. Batman his stretched to his mental limits as the Riddler refuses to allow the Dark Knight to outwit him. (Classic BTAS style)
Batman and Nightwing work together to stop Two Face who has decided it's he who should determine guilt and innocence for all of the citizens of Gotham City. Flashbacks delve deeper into the relationships of Bruce & Harvey and Bruce & Dick and what mysterious events tie them all together. Also, a few good scenes for the Penguin would be appreciated. (TNBA style)
The combined forces of Ra's Al Ghul and Poison Ivy attempt to rid the planet of the humanity that spoils it once and for all. Only Batman and the more personably Green Arrow stand in their way. (JL style)
Batman and Superman are Gotham City and the rest of the world's only chance for survival when Darkseid arms the Arkham Ayslum inmates with technology from Apokolips. Appearences could be made by almost every member of Batman's rogues gallery as well as Darkseid's evil posse. "Legacy" could be addressed. (TNBA style)
All he** breaks loose in Gotham City when a mob war erupts between Rupert Thorne, the Joker, and Scarface/the Ventriloquist. This movie would delve deeper into the Joker's past as a mobster and the odd relationship between Batman and Commisioner Gordon. (Classic BTAS style)
Also, the very dark BB dtv featuring Catwoman and the Joker/Bane teamup done in TNBA style.
