I haven't read any of the Batman-Predator books but I love the concept.

Am I alone in thinking this would make a great 70-90 minute animated feature?

The movie that could start off w/ Batman on Bane's trail. Unbeknownst to both that the Predator is watching. Bane manages to elude the Batman. However, he cannot shake the alien hunter, who gets the drop on Bane. He puts up a good fight but eventually falls to the Predator, who has to leave abruptly before collecting his...trophy (Bane's skull and vertabrae). Batman enters the scene, only to see a bloody and broken Bane.

Bane is escorted back to Stonegate. Batman investigates the scene and finds a little present, accidently left by our Dreadlocked friend, an odd-looking shuriken. He takes it back to the cave for examination.

In the coming weeks, the body count rises in Gotham as the Predator tears thru the town killing mobsters, gang bangers, and police officers. Batman has a hard time gathering leads because the few who survive are in silent shock. The only clue left at the murder scenes are bat drawings done w/ the victims' blood.

Eventaully, Batman becomes aware he is being followed. The two have a few showdowns in the City before this whole epic scene goes down in the Batcave.

Bats is getting beat on pretty bad in the Cave, when he pulls out his ace: he flips that sonic switch that makes all the bats in the joint go ballistic. Bats are everywhere. The Predator is flailing his arms trying to get the bats out of his field of vision. Batman enters with a vicious series of body and head blows. He swings a killer jawbreaking right hook on the Predator, who falls off a ledge. Batman grabs his hand and attempts to pull him up, but the prideful Predator claws Batman's face, causing Bats to let go. The Predatory falls and is impaled on a stalagmite.

Batman buries the Predator...and the secret, deep in the Cave, never to be visited again.
