I'd say don't make it to much like the Superfreinds where they all just sit around like they have nothing better to do but stop the Legion (or Society which may be possible). Also don't bring charecters in that are not neccisercy. If the Flash is the only charecter that seems to work in the ep, then don't bring in any of the others.
Here's my advice:
Don't make a JLA cartoon make more BTAS episodes!!!
JLA will suck, I know it'll suck as bad as Batman Beyond, STAS and Schuhmacher's B&R

You know you're asking for it dude from the other board members.
Anyway, I must respectfully disagree. I think JLA will rock hard and often. Very high hopes.
And I like Batman Beyond and Supes. And no I don't think the comparison to Schuhmacher's movies.

Really? Well, I think most of us here can appreciate dissenting opinions, as long as they're well-presented.
So, with that in mind.... why, exactly, do you think JLA will suck?

everything that bruce timm has done has been great, and the jla cartoon looks to be the same. sure, i'd like to see new batman episodes, but this is the JLA. i've been waiting a long time for this, as i know others have. don't attack it before it's even come out, give it a chance at the least...

I agree that Superman and Batman Beyond were good more often than they were bad, so to whom who predicted JLA will be lousy based on those two shows, that's your right to be wrong, but I think JLA will be the best chance Bruce Timm has has to shine since the first Batman series.
As for what I'd like to see on the show...perhaps more story threads that tie the episodes together, more like great anime does. Don't just make individual episodes, but allow there to be elements from each show that continue into the next, making it more of a true series rather than a collection of episodes.
And to push for Cartoon Network to secure a contract NOW to get this show, entire series and all, out on DVD ASAP! I don't think any of us want to be posting on this board or else where ten years from now wondering when out JLA DVDs will be out.
