According to Mayday-Anime (http://www.mayday-anime.com/daisuki/oa-future.htm), "The Big O 2" is in production from Sunrise and will be premiering in America, presumably sometime in the near future on Cartoon Network. "The Big O," which bares some resemblence to "Batman: The Animated Series," premiered on Toonami in 2001 and although it was relatively short, it received many praise. The original series had a total of thirteen episodes.
