See, I knew they still had it in them...

In the first short, I could have sworn there was a cut as Clark is speaking to Mr. White. After the words "...a dangerous assignment," it seems to fade out a bit too fast. Could the last few words have been "...for a woman?" (regarding Lois)--possibly cut on the grounds of being sexist? Though I'd figure going up against some nutball with a laser is pretty dangerous for either sex. The vulture was a nice comic touch--watch as the scientist exeunts, and it copies its master's menacing nod at Lois, trussed up in a chair.

Every copy "Superman" I've ever seen, on various tapes and DVDs, has that same fade out. It was probably released that way.

A superman Acme Hour? We had one on a recent Saturday night! They should have shown 2 rare WBs, 2 rare MGMs from the 1950s, and 2 rare Popeyes (including 1 war cartoon). A superman show was a total ripoff!

"The Magnetic Telescope" is one of my favorite Superman cartoons, because the police are completely responsible for activating the telescope and causing the disaster when they break into the lab and fool around with everything. (The scientist even begs them not to do anything!)

A superman show was a total ripoff!

What do you expect from the network that shows Scooby-Doo a thousand times a day, and show a Cartoon-Cartoons marathon every week, and blow a perfect opportunity for some rare goodies late at night?
