When this series first aired i thought it was much better than the old one(still think that). Most of the episodes were great and it didn't disappoint, but then when BB came it stopped showing new episodes. Who thinks that they should of gone on and went further with this series when BB ended? Its only been 3 years, im sure most of the voice actors aren't doing much, hope they decide to air new episodes (once JL is over)

I thought it should have continued and I heard from sites that it would continue

You heard wrong. It's been over for quite a while, with the creative team moving onto other projects such as Justice League and the upcoming Teen Titans, it's really doubtful they're going to resurrect it to make new episodes. They're probably going to make new DTVs, I'm not too sure about that though... not very well informed ^_^'

The reason why I wasn't really into BB was because it was taking away from TNBA. BB eventaully grew onto me but I was still upset TNBA was cut so short.
It's my opinion that BATMAN should be a staple program for WB/CN and that there should ALWAYS be production going on w/ a Batman series.
Thus, if Zeta & Static, etc all go off the air, they should reboot the Batman franchise.
There are still characters that need to be visited:
A. the Huntress
B. Anarky
C. The Black Mask & The False Face Society
D. the original Royal Flush Gang
E. Lady Shiva
and re-visited: Lock-Up, Calendar Girl, The Terrible Trio, Clock King, Maxie Zeus, etc...

Although I do prefer B:TAS to TNBA, I still really enjoyed watching TNBA. I think it definetly could have gone a lot farther, even with Batman Beyond also being out. It seems that they cut it's possibilities short when the just stopped working with it. I love JL as well, and am glad that they're working on that right now, but I still think it's a shame that TNBA didn't go for a bit longer. There were certainly many areas that still remained untouched in the Batman world which they could have brought into TNBA.

They could have gone so much farther it's not even funny- the untapped resources are running rampant. They only made like 40 episodes- I wish they'd made more, but hey, what can you do? (Stupid Batman Beyond).

They only made 24. Of course they could have done a lot more with it, it's Batman. He's survived over 60 years without becoming outdated; they could have done another 61 without much of a problem in terms of original stories. However, for all we know, over half of those could have been Critters quality. Wait, I was supposed to have a point, wasn't I? Well yeah, I think they should have done more regardless that most cartoons don't get to have even close to 100 episodes. Batman's just that great.

The show's dead..."Mad Love" was the series finale back in 1999.

They could have gone further with TNBA. I would love to have learned more about Nightwing's training during the two year break between shows. Sequels to Over the Edge and Growing Pains would have been appreciated as well. More focus on Batgirl whose personality was underdeveloped in TNBA, a true Nightwing and Robin team-up episode, the revamped Scarecrow origin, a full episode appearance of both Riddler and Bane, the return of Hugo Strange, the return of the Ninjia with a mission to kill Batman and Nightwing (he encountered Dick during Dick's travels), another World Finest team-up (that Superman episode wasn't acceptable), Nightwing meeting a member of the Superman cast, a Supergirl/Robin team-up, more appearances from the GCPD (especially Montoya), etc. There was a lot of things that weren't covered in TNBA.

There could've been a story about Brian Rogers, Grayson's old roommate from GSU.
He was in "Fear of Victory", the QB whom the Gotham Knights drafted.
Years later, well into his pro career, the guy is among the league's elite. There could've been an episode where Rogers was being stalked, blackmailed, extorted, (etc...). And it's up to Nightwing to protect his old friend.
TNBA lacked the presence of Dr. Leslie Thompkins. I liked her character.
I also missed the element of organized crime. BTAS covered all the bases: the crazies, the gangsters, the bookies, slavery, cartels...even custody. TNBA leaned heavy towards action, but BTAS had more human interest stories. Plus I really enjoyed the drama & noir of BTAS.
Still, I'd like to see a 3rd run of BATMAN.

A quality mystery and showdown between the Riddler and Batman, perhaps with Batgirl's life hanging in the balance.
Adaptions of Batman: Gotham Adventures #1, #4, & #5.
Dr. Hugo Strange helping the Scarecrow escape from prison so that they can psychologically undo Batman once and for all.
Harley Quinn develops a crush on the Creeper and the Joker gets violently jealous.
With the entire Bat-team on different cases, Commisioner Gordon hunts down Two Face who's attempting to take over the last few elements of Rupert Thorne's empire.
Nightwing and Batgirl attempt to rekindle their former romance, but Bane intervenes. Meanwhile, Batman encounters romantic woes when the Phantasm returns.
A day in the life of the Penguin. ('nuff said)
Trying to prove he's more than just a sidekick, Robin takes on Poison Ivy by himself.
The Joker kidnaps Dr. Leslie Thompkins so that she can care for Kyodai Ken whom the Joker has brainwashed to detroy Batman and help the Joker bust open Gotham City.

on the question of if there were GOOD story ideas left to be seen in tnba...I answer yes.
on the question of whether I think that KWB should have continued production on tnba..I answer yes.
on the question of if I hold the cancellation of tnba against Batman Beyond...Hell No.
I blame tnba's cancellation soley on the shoulders of KWB, who adopted the plan of EVERY SHOW MUST HAVE A YOUNG LEAD. KidsWB wanted Batman to be younger. They wanted to do the show - Bruce Wayne, teenager, fighting crime. I blame KWB for being very short sided, and needing a reality check.

And where did you see that Teen Titans is a go?

I think, from what Jim posted on the newsboard, that the Teen Titan series is just a rumor, and would be produced after JL is over. Hopefully that won't happen in a long time.

I doubt the show will ever be produced.

All right, fine, no Teen Titans. But TNBA is definitely not being continued. Geez :P

I'll agree with that statement.
