According to a story in USA Today, Marvel Comics will be distributing one million copies of a special edition New Avengers comic book (http://www.usatoday.com/life/books/news/2005-04-25-military-comic-books_x.htm) to forces serving in the United States military worldwide. The first 150,000 copies of the print run will go to troops stationed in the Middle East.
A special reception at the Pentagon is scheduled for April 28, between 1:00pm and 2:00pm, with special guests Spider-Man, Captain America, and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.
