Well, at DG's request, I am posting this, I hope you get a kick out of it. As I am sure several of you know by now, Peace Keeper and Xavier and JustWhelemed and a couple other user names have been banned because they were discovered to be the SAME PERSON! Well, for a little while now, PK was quite eaten up about a warning DG issued PK and showing signs of being disgruntled.
Pk thought I was in on this, that I was leading DG on to believe he was a bad thing on the boards, but I let PK know I also got a warning as well. With that in mind, PK tried to get me in on his private little war against DG. And tried HARD.
Well, PK was never able to get me to post anything bad about DG so suddenly JustWhelemed and Xavier pop up with inbred hatred towards DG. What the heck? Why would newbies have such an interest in this kind of stuff anyway, and what would they care about the board politics?
I knew that PK was Xavier, not because he told me, but because they were writing EXACTLY alike. And when PK IMed me one day and JW IMed me the next, both were using the SAME EXACT FONT in the SAME EXACT SAME PURPLE COLOR! They were obviously the same person.
So why did PK do this? I thought PK was cool, and the only reason I was writing to him after he got his warning was to let him know he still had friends on the board and to get him to post again, but I guess his root of bitterness was too great to overcome. So PK tried to rally me into his war against DG, to try to fuel a grudge in me against Dick. While I would agree with PK on certain points, I thought he was stepping way out of line, especially after I saw the Xavier posts.
So while he tried to get me to become bitter and angry to, I said, I had no problem with the warning I got, just the misinterpretation. So PK was alone in his war, but wanted it to look like he had supporters on the board. So he created Xavier and JustWhelmed to make it look like he had support (and why newbies would come out in support of PK is beyond me, anyway. That was also a tip off something else was up). I never saw posts from the other two personas PK was using, so I don't know about those. What's sad is that PK couldn't come to grips with the fact that 340+ posters have no problem with the boards or the rules and had to create his own support group to make it appear as if there was suddenly an uprising against Dick.
I've been on the boards too long to let a warning get in the way of my posting and enjoying the boards. And while we can all learn from our mistakes, I doubt that it makes DG a nazi or an ancient dictator who's come back to exact an out dated method of execution upon members of this board.
