A website dedicated to sci-fi and anime maven Fred Patten (http://www.kayshapero.net/FredPatten/fred.html) has been launched to keep his friends and fans up to date on his health. Patten has written about anime and manga for more than 25 years, but suffered a stroke (http://news.toonzone.net/article.php?ID=2365) in March 2005.
