Actor Tommy Bond passed away on Saturday (http://www.nytimes.com/2005/09/26/arts/television/26bond.html) at the age of 79. Bond is probably best known for his roles as Butch the bully in The Little Rascals and as Jimmy Olsen in two Superman movie serials. Writer Mark Evanier points out that Bond also did animation voice work (http://www.newsfromme.com/archives/2005_09_25.html#010359), most notably as the owl in the Warner Brothers cartoon I Love to Singa, which was memorably appropriated by an early episode of South Park.
