Ok, the 'Mondo Cool/Cowabunga' thing has me rather confused, since I keep thinking of Michaelangelo from TMNT, despite the fact that isn't an *Anime. The closest I can get is a tie between Metabee from Medabots and Zero from Pilot Candidate...

*despite my previous comment, an anime series based on TMNT DID at one time exist. Visually, it was the same show up until the turtles assumed teir 'Superpowered Armored' forms and stuff. Needless to say, the suckiness factor kinda prevented the show from getting any recognition at all in the states, even among otaku fans.
