Wasn't there an issue, or a story line of some sort, in which Nightwing killed the Joker? But then it turned out that he didn't kill the Joker?

Yeah, that was the Last Laugh miniseries. Basically, Nightwing killed him, but then the Joker was resuscitated.

Thanks, I thought that that was the name of it, but I wanted to be sure. What was the particular issue where that happens? And, I heard that a lot of people weren't really happy with that occuring. Either Nightwing "killing" the Joker or the Joker being brought back to life, or both. Any thoughts?

Thankfully, i have no idea. After the second issue of the series, I knew it was going to bomb, and so I stopped picking it up. Lots of other people wish they were so lucky. It was a terrible, terrible mini.

People weren't happy with the entire mini basically. Its not worth the paper it was printed on.

It happened in LAST LAUGH #6, Barb. Which wasn't a bad issue, but...the art was...bad.

Thanks for the replies! I always recall that there were always bad vibes in the air when that mini-series was mentioned. I'm assuming most people would prefer it was never made. Augh, bad art? I can make it through bad storylines....but bad art just kills me.

*Shudder* The only good part about Last Laugh #6 was the art (I'm a Rick Burchett fan). The story sucked like you wouldn't believe. Do not waste your money on this crap. Nothing changed through the entire series.
And here I was hoping I'd never hear of this series again....

Kid Flash, I love Burchett. His HUNTRESS: CRY FOR BLOOD and work on TEC are great. But his art in LL#6 was poor. Just poor. Not his best stuff at all. Might have been the inker, but it just looked BAD.

I thought LL #6 looked great. I loved Burchett's art in it, honestly it was the main reason I got that issue. The previous few sucked, but the art is what made this. Maybe you can just look at it and not read it :)

Funny, I did the exact same thing. And thought the exact same thing too.

lol, obviously everyone has different opinions concerning that artist, and that particular issue. I'll probably pick up that one issue just for the heck of it, but certainly none of the others, I could buy a lot more interesting things with the money that would waste. Anyhoo, since people seem to be cringing to have to talk about this story arc :p ..poor traumatized readers..let's end this discussion!
