A. I. makes two classic cartoon references!

I just saw A.I. and I noticed two references to classic cartoons:

One doctor "fixing" the robo-child mentions that spinach is for men, women, and Popeye.

Also, I think a recording from "I Only Have Eyes For You" was used (The title song)

Spielberg is known to be a fan of classic cartoons. Off the top of my head, he used Duck Dodgers in Close Encouters of the Third Kind, and he used The Mouse who Came to Dinner in E.T. He also said that his love of cartoons inspired the movie 1941.
