Do you adults like it when teenagers post at the Adult Swim board? Do you find it annoying or do you not even care?

I'm a teenager, but I try to act adult so no one notices :D

Here's my question:

Does it really matter? ;)

I didn't see any sign post saying 'those under 18 not allowed' If someone under 18 posts, good for them. Adult Swim targets mostly teenagers at this point anyway, you can't expect the target demographic to not post :p

I don't think it matters because you have enough people that either are young and say they're older, or old that say they're younger. No one can tell since there's no way of proving.

Case in point, on one board that my friend admins, I hacked into this "15 year old girl's" AOL account and found out "she" was a guy (pathetic AOL security).

So if you want to say "nyah, nyah! I'm under 18!", be my guest. For all we know. you could be a 101 yr old guy on his death bed living out his final fantasy :p

It's insignificant. Age that is. To a point, obviously, it matters, after all, I don't think 7 year olds would be able to express themselves very well on the boards. But once you start moving into the teenage years, the line blurs- there's 15 year olds that can present their opinions a lot more intelligently than some 40 year olds I know. So, by the teenage point, I think it's on a case by case basis. You can't simply label people's competency on an age basis once you've reached that level. No one seems to mind me, anyway. Wait, I don't if that's true....

Short answer: yes, with an "if"; long answer: no, with a "but".
Seriously though, no one cares, and if they do, they're probably losers anyway.

Honestly.. I have to go with the people who don't care. It really doesn't matter since shows on both ASA and ASC have shows in the Y7 range to begin with(Outlaw Star, Tenchi, Ranger Smith Pilot, Jetsons Pilot, Night of the Living Doo). As long as they aren't under the age of 13(which is part the Internet Privacy Act if I'm not mistaken) then it really shouldn't matter. Even though the Adult Swim: The Fansite doesn't technically support them as themselves... they're unfortunally on the line up... like it or not so you'd have to expect some of the "kiddies" to come in and post about those shows or shows they "shouldn't" be watching. Again... I'm rambling... It just doesn't matter.

I also don't think it matters. Some teenagers can handle themselves better on the boards than some adults, so age is really relevant. And as another poster said, you never really know how old a person is on line. You all never could believe I am old enough to be Yoda's dad! :D

What is your definition of adult? Like you said, you are a teen who acts like an adult. Do you consider yourself as an adult. Also, there are adults (as in over 21) out there who acts like a child. Are they really adults? Ultimately, it doesn't matter. This is the beauty of the Internet. Nobody can tell if you are an adult or not.

I'm a teenager that acts like a teenager in real life, but on the internet I try to act a little more mature than I am. I was actually reffering to immature posts more than the posters themselves. Like when I said "Oh No! Exposed!" I guess I should have specified a little more clearly :D

Teenagers and adults seem to have different viewpoints on somethings, though, like Popeye. I'm a teenager and I hate that show, so I could understand why some adults could become upset if a teen such as myself posts their opinions about such a show, because I'm not adult, so it's not really my place.

Not to bash Popeye or anything, because I can see how it could appeal some people.
