Hey Leaguers should JL have a videogame or is the upcoming games Freedom Force and City of Heroes enough. I'm really excited about City of Heroes but I would love to see a JL game. If they made it like City of Heroes, like Sonic Adventure 2 where you can be a number of different characters each facing challenges in different enviorments, like Batman Vengence or like a Street Fighter game I think it would work. They could make it
Adventure
RPG
or Action
What do you think would work best? I really think that this could work as long as they make it better then that Gensis JLA game that was out a while ago!

There is a Justice League videogame at CartoonNetwork.com.
As far as consoles, I think it would be cool. They did it for Batman Beyond, so why not?? If Batman: Vengeance and this X-box Superman game do well, I say it's highly possible.

Of course they should! I was always hoping Capcom would start making DC games in the style of their VS. Marvel games. Can you imagine Batman animated by Capcom? Drool...

What are these other 2 games and what systems are they coming out on?
A JL game would be pretty sweet as long as it is done properly. I heard the Superman & Batman Beyond titles of 1-2 yrs ago were downright terrible.
The Superman titles for PS2 & Xbox look nice from the screen captures. The PS2 cellshading version looks better and the Xbox reminds me of the "Multipath Adventures of Superman" on the WB site.
Either action or fighting would be nice to see. Activision has done nice work on the X-Men Mutant Academy titles & Capcom with the popular Street Fighting & Marvel Superheros.
I don't know about the rpg. The characters are already established so what changes would be taking place with regards to their stats?

The other games are City of Heroes and Freedom Force.
Freedom Force looks like a promising super hero single player role playing game. I've seen this game and it looks great. For more information on Freedom Force go to www.videogames.com
City of Heroes is a online role playing game that allows you to create your own hero, and headquarters. You can even join a superhero tieam. For more info on City of Heroes go to www.cityofheroes.com
Both of these games allow you to create a new superhero and decide what powers he or she will have. They both also allow you to develop superhero team fighting stratigies.

If you can call that a game. :wakko:
Anyway, it all depends on who makes the game, but it could work.
By the way, does anyone remember the game Justice League Task Force? It's no Street Fighter, but it did let you have a Batman vs. Darkseid fight.

that was for the nintendo entertainment system.
I remember the controls being a pain in the *****, but at that young age still enjoyed being Flash, Batman or Superman.

I remember doing Flash's fast attack & Batman's Batarang Throw but still getting whooped.
Another good game for the Nintendo was Death Of Superman where you played the incarnations of Superman.

the bosses in that game were fairly difficult actually
i enjoyed it though-- despite the worthlessness of heat vision ;)

I STILL have that game. The bosses were hard. I beat them with all the characters on Easy and Normal. But on Hard I only beat it with Superman, Wonder Woman, and the Flash. IMO the Flash was the best character. His little Tornado was decent but his most powerful move was the move where he turns into a tornado and hits you. I would bust a superspeed across the screen then go into a tornado. Bats was alright but slow. The only way to win with him was to master his sliding kick and his cape hit. Wonder Woman was really good. You could even deflect shooting attacks. Aquaman sucked, which was a shame because he was the only character with a weapon. Green Arrow was okay, but his most powerful move, the Flame Arrow was hard to do. Superman was one of the best characters in the game, his AI was hard because he was really fast. Cheetah was good, she was the only character with a one hit KO move. Despero was so-so. Darkseid was sorry to play, to fight agaisnt though he was hard. Anyway, there should be a JL fighting game and it should be done by Activision because X-Men MA 2 is really good.

Just to let you know cartoonboy Justice League Task Force iwasn't for the NES it was for the SNES and Sega Gensis not like it matters but I just thought I'd point it out. Anyway it would be cool if capcom made a Marvel vs DC game!

Forgot about the nes & snes even though I had both. Snes had some good titles for its day...Secret of Mana & Spider-Man:Maximum Carnage to name two titles off the top of my head.
Freedom Force looks like a good game. I must be slippin' on keepin' up with the video game previews. City Of Heroes also looks very interesting. similar to the Phantasy Star Online concept
I am Batman

I think they make Justice League video in the form of Batman vengeance. You could be all seven of the heroes, and two players could fight together. You would have all their powers and the characters you weren't controlling would come and help you fight also.

If it was done in the style of Batman Vengence, or the upcoming Superman game for PS2, A Justice Leauge game would be cool. As long as you don't get to fly through 75 hoops in one minute, or die. (Superman 64 reference) I remember that Justice Leauge Task Force game. It was kinda hard for me. I also remember that Death Of Superman game as well. That was fun, but I never got the chance to beat it. I would've loved it if Capcom made A Marvel Vs. DC game for the arcades. That would've rocked! I also think A justice Leauge game done in the style of Final Fight, or Ninja Turtles would work too.
Want to know what the worst superhero games were? Superman, The Punisher, X-Men, and Wolverine for the NES. Arcade's Revenge, Wolverine, and Spiderman:TAS for The Super NES.
