Who is your favorite comic book writer? Right now I like the guy who is writing Amazing Spider-Man. I don't know how to spell his name so I'll call him JMS. :)

I like that Jeph Loeb. His hands are strong yet comforting...and he has a drive that belies his age...
Oh, wait, you meant as far as writing ability? I'd say Brian Michael Bendis. (boy, that could have been embarrassing...)

The pairing of Goyer & Johns, although with Robinson on HAWKMAN, (I haven't read it yet,) anything Robinson does is excellent.

Right now, Brian Michael Bendis. But it's close between him, Kevin Smith, and James Robinson. Read Starman is right!! Go back and read them all in sequence, like I did two weekends ago!

Right now it's gotta be Bendis. I don't know which I enjoy more--the POWERS comic book or the POWERS letter page.

Oh man...I gotta go with Bendis. Consistantly the best out there. And I love his dialogue. Dead-on perfect. Doesn't matter if it's ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN or POWERS, every book he does is awesome, which is amazing considering he writes four-five comics a month.

Howdy,
Gad, I gotta pick just one? Off the top of my head, I'd throw out Neil Gaiman, Alan Moore, Mark Waid, Kurt Busiek, Paul Chadwick, or Stan Lee.
