I chose Disney's "Education for Death" because it is a very impressive and hard-hitting cartoon that effectively stresses how important it is to win the war and how much we need to ready ourselves to win the war. After all, we don't want any of our children to wind up like Hans.
Granted, the cartoon may seem a little *too* hard-hitting at times especially when viewed today (a friend of mine find it nearly impossible to believe that EFD was a Disney cartoon) but, when viewed in its proper historical context, it is very entertaining and well made.
However, I must admit it was harder to choose with this poll as nearly every cartoon on the poll list I found entertaining and amusing. I don't know what it is but, for some reason, I've always found WWII cartoons fascinating. I guess it's because they not only continue to make us laugh but teach us an important bit of past history as well.
FWIW, my runner-up vote goes to "Blitz Wolf".

I'm voting for Der Fuerher's Face. Not only am I a big Donald Duck fan ;) but it's also a wonderful cartoon. The sequence with Donald on the assembly line in particular is manic and sidesplittingly hilarious. Poor Donald, forced to work for the Nazis, it sends a message without the message getting in the way of the fun.
But I like most wartime cartoons. Herr Meets Hare is my runner-up.

I picked RUSSIAN RHAPSODY not only because I love that cartoon, but because it's the only one of those cartoons that I saw. :p Hopefully, that'll change after I watch the Wartime Cartoons special, which is on right now!

Acutally, my favorite is "Daffy the Commando" -- you can't beat having the `dolpher get malleted in the back of the head for an end gag.

My vote went for "DER FUEHRER'S FACE"...I had the honor of seeing this cartoon several years ago at a cartoon festvial in NYC, and I was simply amazed by this short. To see this type of cartoon in which Donald is working at an artillery factory saying "Sieg Heil"after making bombs and his only sorce of food which is a one little bean. The whole cartoon is nothing but a dream sequence for Donald, and when he wakes up and he feels glad to be an American, and salutes the American Flag.
Note:This not just the greatest WW2 cartoon ever made, but it's the greatest Disney cartoon short ever made.
If you have never seen this cartoon you're missing out on animation history.

My vote goes to "Der Fuerher's Face." I acquired a copy of this recently and it is without a doubt one of the most-tripped out cartoons I have ever seen! I'm not a Disney cartoon fan, mainly because I wasn't exposed to them earlier in life. I also never found Disney cartoons to be funny. Sure they were well-animated and all, but they just don't make me laugh like a Warners or MGM cartoon does.
This one, though, is a classic!! A great scathing satire about Adolph and his screwed-up philosophies! I watch this one quite often when there's nothing else worth watching.

I chose "Der Fuehrer's Face" because it tries to convey how bad a Nazi-ruled life would be, rather than the usual "fight the Hitler caricature" of the day. It's style and presentation make it the best of this list.
However, my true pick for the very best WWII cartoon ever is Superman in "Eleventh Hour." It features the Man of Steel sabotaging the Japanese war machine every night at 11 p.m., just like many Americans would have liked to do if they had the power. Contrary to the "Toonheads" comments on the story, it is not an "unfortunate" cartoon. There is not one racist bit in the entire cartoon. The two Japanese who actually speak do have an accent, but it's not the "Me so solly!" stuff of the Popeye and Looney Tunes tales with big buck-teeth, its regular English by normal-looking men. A truly original idea that has never been reproduced by any studio since, I consider it the most underrated cartoon of all time.

I chose The Blitz Wolf because it's my favorite out of the wartime cartoons I've actually seen. I know I saw Bugs Bunny Nips the Nips on a local station about a decade ago. It just sticks out in my mind ever time I see the Japanese guys. You know what's funny? My German accent sounds just like Adolf Wolf's. That's funny because I've been doing the accent before I even saw the cartoon.

I had to vote for "The Ducktators" because I think it's the best one that tells the story of WW2 in seven minutes of Warner Brothers style, funny and cutting at the same time, and reflects the mentality of the general populace re: this War. However, I also really like "Education For Death" and "Tokio Jokio", both of which are quite powerful in their own right- "Education" which is downright scary and "Tokio" which is just plain insulting.

Scrap Happy Daffy!
It's very patriotic, the cartoon also has catchy music. The jump-take from the horse's rear to Adolf's face is priceless. The neatest thing about the movie is that it doesn't insult anyone (well, maybe the charactures seen Daffy's mirror...).
While I'm mentioning this...I'd like to say that the least watchable WWII cartoon is Tokio Jokio. Yes, the Japanese were our enemies during WWII, but this cartoon is just mean. It's one thing to make fun of the Japan army (like in BB Nips The Nips), but this makes fun of their race.
The Ducktators seems like an interesting cartoon...but I haven't seen it, so I can't say it's my favorite.
