Anyone Have a Bonzi Buddy?

Does anybody else have one of these things?

Bonzi is a little purple gorilla that you download and he just kind of hangs out on you screen. He tells jokes, sings, tells interesting facts, calls you by name, compliments you constantly and tries to get you to buy his special features. I downloaded him from a pop-up ad about a year ago and although I usually hide him I just don't have the heart to delete him.

I have a cute little sheep that does all sorts of different things. One of the things is it'll shoot down from the upper right corner of the screen, bursting into flames halfway to the bottom, where it lands in a tub full of water. Weird stuff.

Maybe I'll download the bonzi to keep him company :-)

I'd do that but I have a thing against downloading thing from pop-up's. It might be hard to remove him from your computer.

Looks slightly less annoying than the Microsoft Office Assistant.

And I say "less annoying" because I know for a fact that the MS Office Assistant has never assisted me. Unless you have a dictionary that has given the definition of assist as "to annoy", and if that is the case then I must track down who ever compiled that dictionary and kill them.

It definitely is! On the show, The Screensavers, they listed the top 5 programs you never want to install on your computer. Bonzi Buddy was the number one item! It even beat out Gator! Once you install it, it's VERY difficult to uninstall. I think it even dumps spyware into your 'puter.

You mean that annoying little purple monkey that keeps popping up randomly in these little ads on my desktop somehow? No thanks. He's hit on my nerves already, and he won't go away >:C
