Dwayne McDuffie, writer of Icon, Static Shock (comic and TV show), and the odd episode/teleplay of Justice League, does drop in from time to time, and has some posts in the "Brave & the Bold" Pt.1 feedback thread.

"nothing" seems to have an inside track to the inner workings of CN and JL.

A few of the Toon Zone interviews with Bruce Timm indicate that he at least reads posts from the board, or is in touch with Internet criticism of the show (e.g., he picked out the criticisms many had with Wonder Woman's voice acting).

Paul Dini used to be a poster in the netnews comics/animation groups. It isn't a stretch to think he reads fan forums, too, but we can't confirm or deny.

Whether ANY of these guys actually do much with our criticism is completely unknown, unless any of them want to comment.

A lot of WB insiders check out these boards... most of them are a bit too shy to post, though. However, if a certain project comes to fruition, that could be changing a bit.... ;)

too shy?

if any of them need an ego boost they should post a thing or two-- most of us will worship them for their awesome work on STAS, BTAS and JL

Green Hornet,

You may be right that a lot of us will worship them and what not, but still others will undoubtedly harass them and begin lobbying in overtime for their own agenda on the show, assuming a close, personal relationship with the creators. And then if something should go wrong, people would never hesitate to publically rip apart the creators and they may leave.

The DC Online JSA Board just chased writers Geoff Johns and David Goyer away because, even after worshipping them for 32 issues, an issue came out that was considered by an ignorant many to be a "flop" and people went nuts on them.

So creators are shy because us comic fans are anything BUT. ;)

I am not even touching upon the fact that none of the creators owe us anything but a good show. We don't need them to post here to enjoy ourselves.

Well said, Clark!

This is an incredibly well-behaved and intelligent group of posters, which is one reason (we think) it has attracted the attention of people like Messrs. Slott and Storrie and Delaney and Ku and McDuffie -- as well as others who do NOT post.

Still, it's sometimes wisest not to tempt the fates. ;)

I have no problems with them not publicly posting (for all we know, they're all here, posting on a regular basis, as 'fans' with their own monikers... Heck, for all some of us know, the member known as Nothing is Bruce Timm, or a Cartoon Network/Warner Bros. exectutive producer! :D)

Which is fine by me. If I were a creator on Justice League, I wouldn't post under my real name either. But I'm glad they do come here and READ what we have to say. Then they can print out the good responses, critiques, episode ideas, etc., and take them to the creators of Justice League themselves! :D

I'm just ecstatic that they DO come here and read our threads and messages on these Message Boards! :D
