Tonight's episode was hilarious. Kenny dead, a ski jerk, and a timeshare subplot.

I loved it. Hilarious 80s teen flick parody. Well, up until the ending, that was just, well, ick to the infinity.

Agreed, but everything before it was hilarious. Seeing some of the stuff reminded me of one of my all-time fave movies, Better Off Dead, but I wasn't 100% sure until I heard the phrase "K-13" (a takeoff on the K-12 that Lane and Roy race down in the film's climax). Also, who didn't laugh themselves stupid at the montage, particularly the song?

All through this one I was trying to figure out which movie, if any in particular, was being parodied. There is a ski movie that shows periodically on ComCent, but I've never watched it all the way through (Booger from Revenge of the Nerds is in it, and he wears a top hat). The redhead reminded me oddly of the band camp geek in American Pie...but what in the name of hell was that under her shirt?
Best bits were the gag where you put someone's hand in a glass of warm water while they're a sleep, then whizz on them (referenced on an ep of The Man Show, but this is the first time I've seen it actually executed)...and Cartman giving Butters a Dirty Sanchez.
"I have to do this for Heather!" "You don't even know Heather!"
Funniest new minor character--Exposition Geezer. "Oh you don't wanna go up on K-13. They say it's haunted...[long spiel about dead skiers, Indian burial grounds, and such].
"Pizza....French fries...Pizza...French fries...."

if you don't like pizza and french fries, you're gonna have a bad time.
...what WAS that under that cute but dorky girl's shirt?!

That was Better Off Dead. A highly underrated comedy from 1985, it stars John Cusack as a somewhat neurotic teenager whose girlfriend dumps him for the arrogant captain of the ski team. Written and directed by Savage Steve Holland (who would later direct the similar but still good One Crazy Summer and co-create the Fox Kids series "Eek! the Cat"), the film is chock full of good dialogue and silly gags. I highly recommend it to everyone.

God willing, we'll never find out.

I thought it looked like "Geodude"...

Another case of conjoined twin myslexia would be my best guess...maybe the school nurse in South Park has a relative in Aspen? Is the disease hereditary? :shudder:

Oh, and we learn that Butters and Stan are cousins! That was a total left-fielder!

It was okay. I want to see an episode with Kenny in heaven, and he can't get out because he kept going to hell and he was related to Satan, who let him out. Then Kenny tries his best to escape heaven because it sucks and the people are gay.

those things on her chest were a reference to Total Recall. That one guy in it had the messed up twin attached to his chest. :p

Thanks. I'm presuming when the...things...spoke, the line about getting to the reactor was a Recall ref as well. I had to watch this one again because it was just so...off kilter.
Note the Karate Kid ref during the training montage (watch the smooth flowing arm movements) and the bit with the hampsters appears to use CGI, which seems to have started being employed in the SP series in FOURTH GRADE YEARS right around the "Trapper Keeper" ep ....
