Has anyone ever heard of the Keirsey Temperament Sorter? It's a famous personality test, based on four temperaments and sixteen personalities, which was developed by a famous scientist named Keirsey. He based his personality test on science and logic, and it's known around the world as the most accurate personality testing device out there.

I took the test, and I must say, the results were exactly my personality!!! Both strengths and weaknesses!!! It was amazing!!!

Here's the website. Just click on the link below:

http://www.keirsey.com/

And take the Keirsey Temperament Sorter test. Then, once you get your results, read an analysis of your own personality! It works! :D

Then, why don't you post your personality type on this thread? I came up as an NT (Rational) Temperament, and an ENTJ (Fieldmarshal). And you...? :)

It's been a while since I've taken this, but I went through it again, just as a refresher...

I'm an Idealist (NF) and more specifically, a Healer (INFP.)

On a side note, every time I go to this page, they seem to want to charge for more and more information... the first time I took it (long ago) You got the full descriptions, they let you know exactly what kind of person you were (the 4 letter description, not the 2 letter.) More recently, they would only really give you the 2 letter description, but if you knew what your 4 letter archetype was, you could find a full description deeper in the pages. Well, now if you want that full description, you gotta buy the book. Feh.

I got Rational (NT)

I think this is kind o BS as I always do with any thing that claims it can break down a persons psyche. I answered as honestly as I could, although some of the questions didn't make muck sense.

Unfortunately you have to pay now to get your full 4 letter archetype. I actually remember doing this from another site that this site shut down (which was a much better site too, I might add... no nonsense.)

I am a...

Guardian (SJ)

All Guardians (SJs) share the following core characteristics:

Guardians make loyal mates, responsible parents, and stabilizing leaders.
Guardians tend to be dutiful, cautious, humble, and focused on credentials and traditions.

Let's see - I've been classified as Phlegmatic/Melancholy, a Rooster, a Pisces, an electronic junkie, a number 5 - and now, thanks to this test, an Idealist.

Maybe I should start a personality test result collection. ;)

i remember doing this is AP psych last year, it was so awesome! I'm an idealist:All Idealists (NFs) share the following core characteristics:

Idealists are enthusiastic, they trust their intuition, yearn for romance, seek their true self, prize meaningful relationships, and dream of attaining wisdom.
Idealists pride themselves on being loving, kindhearted, and authentic.
Idealists tend to be giving, trusting, spiritual, and they are focused on personal journeys and human potentials.
Idealists make intense mates, nurturing parents, and inspirational leaders.

Idealists, as a temperament, are passionately concerned with personal growth and development. Idealists strive to discover who they are and how they can become their best possible self--always this quest for self-knowledge and self-improvement drives their imagination. And they want to help others make the journey. Idealists are naturally drawn to working with people, and whether in education or counseling, in social services or personnel work, in journalism or the ministry, they are gifted at helping others find their way in life, often inspiring them to grow as individuals and to fulfill their potentials.

Idealists are rare, making up no more than 8 to 10 percent of the population. But their ability to inspire people with their enthusiasm and their idealism has given them influence far beyond their numbers.

But the second time I took it I was a Guardian:

All Guardians (SJs) share the following core characteristics:

Guardians pride themselves on being dependable, helpful, and hard-working.
Guardians make loyal mates, responsible parents, and stabilizing leaders.
Guardians tend to be dutiful, cautious, humble, and focused on credentials and traditions.

And, looking through both of those different types, I'd have to say that I'm actually both.

I'm a Rational (NT), and more specifically, an Architect (INTP). I would've gone for mastermind, but I'm not a group person. That, and I like designing/building stuff.

One minute I'm an idealist the other I'm a rational. i am a bit of both. I'm dispassionate and a pragmatic yet at the same driven by perfect ideals without one necessarily comprimising the other. I'm a musician and artis, I'd say fair and understanding, but skeptical and detached. I'm not trusting but I find people facinating.

Probably a realist in character but an idealist in character (if I understand the description correctly!)

I'm a Artisan

All Artisans (SPs) share the following core characteristics:

Artisans tend to be fun-loving, optimistic, realistic, and focused on the here and now.
Artisans pride themselves on being unconventional, bold, and spontaneous.
Artisans make playful mates, creative parents, and troubleshooting leaders.
Artisans are excitable, trust their impulses, want to make a splash, seek stimulation, prize freedom, and dream of mastering action skills.

Artisans are the temperament with a natural ability to excel in any of the arts, not only the fine arts such as painting and sculpting, or the performing arts such as music, theater, and dance, but also the athletic, military, political, mechanical, and industrial arts, as well as the "art of the deal" in business.

There are many Artisans, perhaps 35 to 40 percent of the population, which is good, because they create much of the beauty, grace, fun, and excitement the rest of us enjoy in life.

Cool :D
