Did anyone notice that the first time Superman was exposed to kryptonite on the animated show, he was really weak, and got sick and bled, and he sneezed and stuff. It took him a long time to recover. But after that he recovered quicker after he was exposed to it. Could he have possibly been building a resitance. I know it sounds crazy, but I just wanted your opinions.

it was flat out stated in Kingdom Come that superman's "GUZZLING solar radiation" has brought him immunity to even green k

+ one has to wonder how long the 1/2 life is on green K

maybe as the series went on it became less and less potent as he became stronger from that sweet yellow sun

Yes, Kingdom Come stated that, it was Luthor who mentioned that. Kingdom Come was an excelent story by the way, if you haven't read it, you should really pick it up. One thing I liked about Superman: The Animated Series, is when he was under attack he didn't always say "Aaaauuhh!! Kryptonite...got to...get...AWAY!!" like he always did on Super Friends...on the Superfriends, it was always mentioned that Kryptonite could destroy Superman, but all it ever seemed to do to him was make him moan a lot...and say cheesy things all the time. Considering the amount of times that show used Kryptonite, you woulda thought Big Blue would be dead by now.
