C&C- Bleach - "The Murderous Intent Boils! The Joyful Grimmjow"[11/14](165)

Bleach is on at 12:30am and 1:00am eastern with two brand new episodes!

Last time: Ishida and Renji faced off against Espada 8, Szayel Aporro. It seemed like the win was going right to Szayel and his genius thinking until Ishida had yet another trump card under his sleeve and pefectly planned it with Renji. Renji tied Aporro up with his zanpakuto and used his terrible kido to blow each other up leaving Aporro heavily damaged, this timing gave Ishida the chance to try out his new attack which was a Quincy floor spell, which blew Aporro up to pieces. Yet.. Syazel was able to heal himself by eatting his Fraccion. Szayel then decides to leave them to go...change(Yep..) and gives them a head start to think of a plan for round 2 of their battle. Meanwhile, Grimmjow forces Orihime to heal Ichigo so he can have his long awaited battle with him, but....they are soon found by the fourth Espada, Ulquiorra.


Today: With Ulquiorra arriving to stop Grimmjow of his plans of fighting Ichigo, can Grimmjow........actually get rid of Ulquiorra? Or will he fall to the Espada who is two ranks above him?

So from left to right we have

Ulquiorra (Rank: Unknown) - Is fairly cold and indifferent to most and one of
Aizen's most loyal Espada responsible for kidnapping Orihimie and psychogically trying to break her. Which apparently isn't working too well since she's given him the slap of doom. He currently is stopping Grimmjow from allowing Orihime to heal Ichigo, as he finds that Ichigo is dead and the job is done.

Stark (Former Nickname: Lazy Bones. Rank: Unknown) - An Espada who likes his sleep. So much so he sleeps through hearing fellow Espada dying. Has an annoying female follower named Lilyenette who appearntly likes beating him up whenever he sleeps which I suspect are quite often.

Nnoitra (Formerly known as Spoonhead. Rank: Unknown) - Is tall and has a creepy smile made even more creepy by the fact he sounds like Dean Venture hitting puberty. Nnoitra has a Fraccion (an Arrancar chosen by an Espada to follow them) named Tesla and does not like fighting weak opponents wanting to be acknowledged as the strongest even if he already thinks he is. Thus why he didn't kill Chad cause... well Chad kind of sucks.

Halibel (Former Nickname: Mrs. Underboob/Censorboob. Rank: Unknown) - The only female Espada who got her nickname due to her arrancar uniform, which as you can see was censored when it hit the anime. Has one known female Fraccion and... that's all we know about her.

Aaroniero Arruruerie (DECEASED) (Rank: 9th. Former Nickname: Mr. Bubbles. Arrancar Zanpakto: Glotoneria). Now it can be revealed: Aaronierio is the only Gillian member of the Espada. A two head weirdo who can actually absorb a hollow's abilities and powers when it dies. He actually ate the hollow who ate Kaien which explains why he can take his form. He's also the first Espada to show off his resurrecion which is some sort of giant.. purple tentacle monster with two jaws on either side of his body. He has the power of thousands of hollows and the potential to use all of their powers in his resurrecion form. Ruika killed him by stabbing him in the head. However he played his death to the other Espada and seemingly killed Ruika when she killed him.

Yammy (Rank: 10th) -The first Espada we've met and from what we've seen essistanly dumb and fairly easy to beat. If you're not Orihime or Chad that is.

Old Guy (Nickname Due To Not Being Named Yet. Rank: Unknown) Nothing really know about him besides the fact he's... old. And complains when people die stupidly.

Syazel Aporro Granz(Rank: 8th Former Nickname: NERDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD and The Prissy one) - The younger brother of Illford Granzy (15th Arrancar and one of Grimmjow's Fraccions killed by Renji 40 episodes ago) Syzael is apparently the scientist of Hueco Mundo and enjoys collecting new expierments to work on, even those of his fallen team-mates and family members. He is currently...changing his clothes and healed himself 100% and allowing Renji and Ishida to get a head start for round two of their battle.

Affirmative Action Arrancar (Nickname Due To Not Being Named Yet. Rank: Unknown) - He's Affirmative action because he's the only true black arrancar/Espada in the anime. Yammy's more mexcian, Underboob's a mulatto and Tosen isn't an arrancar. Shown mediating after Aarenerio's death).

Grimmjow Jagerjaquez - Rank: 6th. Ichigo's Espada rival who recently reclaimed his spot after taking out the replacement 6th Espada Luppi. His rage and rebelling attiduing also makes him one of the more popular Espada, especially around here. Grimmjow has now recently kidnapped Orihime and taken her to Ichigo to heal him so he can have his big showdown with him, but it seems his plans are not going the way he wants as he gets a surprise visit from Ulquiorra.



NO SPOILERS: NO TALK OF FUTURE ARCS, EVENTS, AND ETC. ALL SPOILER TALK MUST REMAIN ON THE ANIME FORUM! PLEASE SUPPORT THE DUB WATCHERS =D!

Note: Next week ENDS the double episodes of Bleach and the show goes on a hiatus. No the show is not ending, but it's taking a break since we just blasted through half of season 5, all of season 6, and now all of season 7. But to entertain you with more Bleach, the week after will air the first movie, and the week after that will air The Diamond Dust Rebellion which is December 9th.

So after next week, Bleach will be on it's first extended break since episode 52 ended (aired Oct 13, 07) and episode 53 (aired Mar 2, 08) started.

I kind of hope they skip the filler arc to be honest. Not only would it probably drop ratings, but having it start up from where we left off would be a so much more better comeback for the show.

Well I don't like posting spoilers but I guess I can say

Episode 191 is actually 3/4 recap of all that happened in the Hueco Mundo arc ending at 167 and restarting right back where it left off

Which actually would be a decent place to start back. Still I have my doubts they're going to skip Season 8. Viz dosen't really seem to skip epiosdes (Naruto/Naruto Shippuden is an exception since Cartoon Network stopped airing Naruto entirley before it could finish it's run and Disney XD only bought Shippuden) so I'd doubt they'd skip an entire season. Then again if AS dislikes the eps enough they may decide to skip them when new eps of Bleach come out. Still we won't know for sure until next year most likley.

I heard from one of the voice actors, that they are dubbing season 8. So that will be dubbed, and I don't think Adult Swim cares enough to pay attention to Bleach, they won't skip episodes. They are all the same to Adult Swim.

Like I said earlier, they need to keep some distant from Japan. For sure they don't want to start dubbing the current filler arc until it concludes. So skipping episodes is not something they want to do, and keep some distance from the Japan premeres.

Storyline wise, they could skip season 8 and no one will notice, except for one thing you are all forgetting, the title cards. It will look stupid if skip episodes with the title cards.

I'm not "in the know" or anything, but I can't imagine they would skip the upcoming filler eps. I don't think they broadcast episodes under the impression everyone has seen the fansubs already. I mean, an awful lot of people are watching Bleach on AS for the first time, that would probably piss quite a few people off if they skipped episodes.

Ideally, if AS had some other new anime to air it would follow right behind the upcoming Bleach filler as a way combat any possible slip in ratings. I say ideally, who knows when they will start airing new Bleach and who knows if they have anything else new in the pipeline.

Oh, that? Well there's a difference between filler and the actual canon source of material, the filler in question doesn't blend with canon material like the Bount arc did so you can take it as an "what if" type of scenario, I don't want to reveal much but when it airs you'll see.

Yup just like I said before. It is kind of funny how they are all similar.

If there is a new set of enemies after the Arrancars, than it is a giving, that Ichigo primary rivals will first be a psychopath that obcessed with fighting, and than a cool customer that is obcessed with enforcing the law of the superiors.

So in order to stall for his fight with Ichigo, Grimmjow gives Uliqourra a little rock that sticks him in another dimension for a few hours. Guess that's sort of interesting though really Grimmjaw's going to get so screwed over by the rest of the Espada for this. (Though really that makes me think of a funny series of what if with Ulqouirra phasing through dimensions until he comes back to Hueco Mundo in a few hours. Wait few hours? In anime time that could be anywhere from a few hours to a few years!) Anyway besides Renji and Uryu doing the right thing and decing to run, this was all build up and then some aciton in the Ichigo/Grimmjaw battle. Anything that focused on that was... okay (though besides some nice poses to shoot Cero attacks it was mainly just some kind of meh sword clatter. You'd think this battle get a bigger budget for more interesting stuff then that, but then again that was probably being saved for next time) but then we had the too long over done "Ichigo will win" monologues from Orhimie. And I'm with Grimmaw on Ichigo's motivation: stop trying to be so whiny and oversensitve when you're facing these guys man. It's going to kill you (and well already sort of did with Uloquirra). Oh well at least Mask ichigo seems like a match for regular Grimmjaw but don't forget Grimmjaw's got a sword release which should turn things up next time which I'll be reviewing... right now.

Awesome episode starting the epic Ichigo vs. Grimmjow battle,

The highlights:
Dondochakka's abuse from Renji along with Pesche's "comedy team" comments were so hilarious, hahahahaha.
The Grimmjow vs. Ulquiorra battle was pretty great & surprising how Grimmjow used a special device, Caja Negacion to trap Ulquiorra in an alternate dimension & it'll take several hours for Ulquiorra to break free:eek::evil:, cool, which we haven't seen the last of Emo Goth Face, hehehe.
Man, Ulquiorra/Grimmjow are so like Byakuya/Kenpachi which their personalities are so similar along with their rivalries which is so sweet .
Go Orihime to heal your greatest strong boyfriend & I SO admire her courage to stand up to Grimmjow.
Grimmjow the dickface threatening poor Orihime, so much for his sense of honor whch he bees cruel to her like Ulquiorra/Loly & Menoly, Grimmjow, you're cool & all, but hands off the poor girl!!!!!
Great of Ichigo to save Orihime to not him or any villain lay a finger on her, Don_East so loves that scene:anime:.
I support IchigoXOrihime after that scene.
The awesome Ichigo vs. Grimmjow battle begins which it's cool to to see Ichigo's Bankai powers, but he's outmatched by Grimmjow's strength.
I love the cute Orihime/Nel interaction which Nel is so their future child, hahahahahaha, but awesome of Orihime to encourage poor Nel that Ichigo is gonna win while liking Orihime's little flashbacks.
Uh-oh, Grimmjow fires a blast at poor Orihime/Nel, man, the super jerkoff loves to not leave the 2 poor girls alone, but he wants to see Ichigo's true Hollow powers.
Awesome of Ichigo to block his attack while showing his cool Hollow Mask mode, it's always great of Ichigo to protect the 2 poor girls from those evil Arrancar jerks.
During that episode, I loved Orihime's character during the battle which was great.
Shinigami Illustrated Picture Book:Hilarious with Rangiku taking pictures of Hisagi & Kira's cool poses along with a freaked-out Nanao, hahahahahaha.

This is the last day of the double new episodes before the break & Bleach's 2nd movie, cool.
I applaud David Vincent's voicework on Grimmjow's evil character so far, but he was awesome as Van from GUNxSWORD, another awesome anime series.

Hmmm, Orihime gets brave, but still has to have an injured Ichigo save her from some asphyxiationaction. But why didn't he run when as soon as he saw Orihime? I figure since he didn't get healed until after they agreed to fight, he wouldn't have been able to run from Grimjow. Now, Ulq. being transported to another dimension is a nice twist, but I am wondering, since Grimjow is disobeying orders, where are those skull face arrancar who was doing all that punishing earlier?
Well, we shall see how long mask-Ichigo lasts next episode.

Oh, and I didn't forget about Uryu, Renji, and the jabronies, they just weren't anything more than wasted space. Just like this last sentence.

Orihime refuses to heal Ichigo completely once she realizes Grimmjow only wants to fight him...he then tries to strangle her to get her to comply(losing some respect points from me there,man),only to be stopped by Ichigo (:anime:) ....
