A very interesting article on the internet and the effects it has on comic books has popped up on the <a href="http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=982">Comic Book Resources</a> website. Below is a super short excerpt:

...[for Jeph] Loeb, having his own Dot-Com isn't a major concern and says, "Personally, it's not important. I choose to go on places like www.dccomics.com in my free time to check in with the reader. The rest, the 'Newsarama' of it all is just fun stuff. C'mon. We're making comic books. It's a hobby. We can't start to think of 'comic book news' as news. It's hype. Good hype. Gentle hype. But, it's hype all the same."
