Okay, so I'm walking through Macy's on my way to the food court. Walking through Macy's in November is often interesting because you can usually get a glimpse of one of their new Thanksgiving Day parade balloons in the form of a plush toy. So, I walk through and see this:

Mickey in a sailor outfit. One of my first thoughts: Donald is going to be pissed (which will be hilarious as usual, but still). Mickey stole his whole sailor look and one-upped it by wearing a captain's hat instead of a regular sailor's hat.

Anyway, it's cool that Mickey'll be in the parade this year, but the feather's are probably going to fly when Donald sees that Mickey stole his sailor schtick.

Yes! Whenever I think of Donald PO'ed, that's the part I always visualize and crack up at. I remember something (probably a short I'll never figure out the name of) where Donald is doing that and somebody throws an umbrella into his hands, and suddenly he's rapidly opening and closing it for a moment before he throws it aside. The first time I ever saw it, I cracked up so hard. :D

I'm just glad Mickey in the parade. After oceans of muppets (lame) and other corporate junk (Energizer bunny???) it's good to see an actual classic character there. Even if he WAS promoting something too (Disney cruise lines).
