ImageMovers and Disney will be producing a film of Eoin Colfer’s Airman (http://www.firstshowing.net/2009/10/20/zemeckis-continues-motion-capture-obsession-with-airman/). Robert Zemeckis is involved in the film and Gil Kenan will be directing. The film will be made using motion capture animation.

I for one am disappointed. I always thought it could've been a hand-drawn animated Disney musical.

Another Zemckis Mo-Cap movie?

Ah well. At least he's doing it with a neglected story that needs more attention, instead of hacking apart another classic.

Zemeckis get a new idea for crying out loud, make another masterpiece like you did in the 80's man.

Motion capture is NOT animation, so it doesn't belong on this site. ;)

Isn't this guy already working on (ruining) Yellow Submarine?
I'm not too fond of motion capture.
