I know many posters here are fans of the parody artist Weird Al Yankovic, and today he turns 50 years old! I know he has been a bit inactive recently, but he has released a few songs digitally over the internet, he's apparently planning a new studio album some time next year, and according to KROQ's Kevin and Bean Weird Al will be releasing his third greatest hits album sometime soon.

Anyways, happy birthday to Weird Al Yankovic!

Speaking of Weird Al, anyone remember that "Ricky and Lucy" video? I believe that was the first time we've seen Tress MacNeille on camera. We know her as the current voice of Wilma Flintstone. Anyway, happy birthday to Weird Al.

I celebrated by watching some episodes of The Weird Al Show (including the one where it's Harvey's birthday) and some music videos.

Thought I'd resurrect the most recent weird al thread to mention that in the main event of tonight's UFC Ultimate Finale, "Big Country" Roy Nelson used Al's "Fat" as his entrance theme. :D
