Why limit the JL to the DCU?
How about Vertigo material?
Or would that be opening a Pandora's Box on the message board?
Perhaps a story where Poison Ivy recruits the services of Solomon Grundy and it's up to the Batman & the Swamp Thing to stop her.

Somehow I think if Swamp Thing is used in a cameo or guest star, the Bats would have to be there to usher him in. I was thinking the same thing with Grundy as call for Swampy to appear.

I don't like Swamp Thing. I always thought he was a corny character. I hope he does NOT appear in Justice League, EVER.

How about Sandman or Lady Death?
I'm only making suggestions.
As I understand, Vertigo titles are for Mature Readers, so these characters and their dynamics may not translate well into the JL.
Too bad DC doesn't own Dark Horse. It'd be kick ***** to have ALIENS & the Predator(s) on JL. ):-)
Did anyone here read the GL vs. Aliens mini-series? Was it good? It was the Hal Jordan GL, correct? Also, how was the Batman vs. Predator stories?

Head over to your Friendly Neighborhood Comic Shop and get Alan Moore's Saga of the Swamp Thing trade paperback. If you can read that and still tell me you think ST is a corny character, I'll buy the trade book back from you. No kidding.
You can also go hit the "Swamp Thing" thread on the Comic board here to find my other comments on ST and the Alan Moore years. Really ground breaking and mind-blowing stuff.
I would think the "kiddie" market that JL still has to cater to would rule out a lot of appearances by Vertigo characters. I did remember reading somewhere that one of the minds behind BTAS wanted to get the Sandman (Morpheus) in there somewhere, so I wouldn't rule it out entirely.

Correct me if I'm wrong anyone. Please.
