Come to think of it, I don't think I've seen ANY show animated by Artland.

It was the Delgados that sang the original series' OP, not the Fratellis.

They were involved in a lot of projects, actually.

Yeah, I searched that, and the result was always The Delgados.

Heh.

I'm aware of that. I meant a show where they were the primary production house. Like saying Gainax did Gurren Lagann, or Gonzo did the first Full Metal Panic, even though other studios worked on both those shows.

It's always hard to follow up on big success, but I can respect a sequel that's good even if it's not quite equal to the original. I already own the set in fact, so I look forward to getting around to it.

So Japan not only changed studios, it changed voice acting? Mercy. The consistency issue pretty much guarantees that I stick to the dub for this show.

Good choice. Besides, Funimation absolutely loves GSG (the brand manager cosplayed Henrietta at SakuraCon the year they debuted the dub of the first series) so they put in some of their best work on it.

Quite the omission on my part, considering I bought the Delgados' "All You Need Is Hate" record because of the first GSG series. Fixed though.

So, they did keep the same dub cast? That's good, I kinda held off on buying it 'cause I wasn't completely sure.

Well, for all but Marco, but the original VA actually doesn't seem to do anime work any more, so that's very different to Artland's random recasting. The new guy is a suitable replacement as well.
