Here's a good one, what would be your all time favorite lesser known cartoon villian????

Mine would have to go to a villian that only made one screen appearance and that honor would go to the 1935 Ub Iwerks cartoon classic "Balloon Land" which featured the nastiest villian, "THE PINCHUSION MAN", which was the alternative title of that short.

What makes the Pinchusion Man my favorite villian would be for a couple of reasons, the first would be that he was the strangest looking character ever to be animated for the silver screen. He was an actual very tall talking and walking evil safety pin with a cuhsion for pants and filled with needles and pins and a thumb thimble for a hat.The second reason, being that he was voiced by BILLY BLETCHER who (IMO) gave this character a real personality, a cartoon charcater you would love to hate and I think it's Bletcher's "BEST" vocal performance that give a great depth to this animated villian.

BTW:
As much as I love the Pinchusion Man, that if you were to call my cell phone, the Pincuhison Man would answer the phone..My friends just love it when they hear is voice. :D

It's Dan Backslide from "The Dover Boys". I mean, he's so wryly funny with his actions and "melodramaesque" dialogue lines ("A runabout. I'LL STEAL IT!!! NO ONE WILL EVER KNOW!!!!!!"; at this point, he reaches into the car's trunk, pulls out a driving uniform, and dresses himself with it literally in less than a second).

I also like Spike from the Droopy cartoons, although I prefer the shorts in which Spike starred on his own. I actually prefer Spike as a Droopy villain over the wolf (believe it or not). The way he mercilessly tries to kill Droopy just so he can come first in some sort of competition... Oooooh. You just love to hate a guy like that!

I love Claude Cat.

One of :(Mister Jones' lesser creations, he's truly evil, much moreso (IMHO) than Tom or Sylvester. I know, he was really put upon by Hubie & Boit, and that ANNOYING little barking puppy, but hey - anyone who could deliberately try to hurt poor lil' Pussyfoot is heartless!:D

I have a certain fondness for the title charater in "The Sneazing Weasel" and for the Gorgon in "Porky's Hero Agency," because they both have memorable voices (Avery's classic laugh debuted in the former and in the latter Clampett came up with the idea of mixing a Greek mythic legend with the voice of a radio gossip columnist) and, more importantly, they were the first "comic villians" who were played more for laughs than for being any real menace. That freed up the Warner cartoons (and eventually, everyone else's cartoons) to be funny from start to finish, instead of having to stop and create a dramatic moment for the hero(s) to overcome, the way all the early-to-mid 1930s cartoons played out.

I have to agree - that line alone makes Dan Backslide cool. He's like Snidely Whiplash, but much, much sillier :).
I also have to add my vote for Gossamer, if he counts....he's not all that villainous, but he's cool nonetheless :).

Definitley Dan Backslide or Katnip (he did a great evil tax collector role in "Robin Rodenthood").

I kind of liked the French/Canadian Blaque Jaque Sheloque (or however the heck you spell his name)

Also, I liked Chuck Jones' two versions of Nasty Canasta. The evil one which was seen in "Drip Along Daffy," and the one that's more comical in "Barbary Coast Bunny."

I also liked McCrorry from "My Bunny Lies Over the Sea."
