Does anybody else remember this?

Yep, I watched it all the time as a kid. And even though it is intended for younger audiences, I still enjoy it because of all the memories.

Yeah I remember it. My younger brother used to watch it sometimes. Also why is this thread here? It isn't that old.

Agreed. Furthermore, this needs to be moved to the Nicktoons forum since it's a Nick Jr. show.

Yah it was never on Boomerang. But I did watch this show as a kid. Cat was always my favorite.

This was one of my favorite shows in preschool. I admit....I occasionally watch a re-run of it on Noggin.
It's not that old though, so this should probably be on the Nicktoons forum.

I loved this show. Especially the musical score. So good!

I was always more of a Franklin fan, myself.
Little Bear does have a classic feel to it, but it's a bit too young for the Retro board. So I, a Nicktoons mod, am stealing this thread. Don't tell. :p

Thief! :D
Well, back to topic!
Oh god I remember it very well and I hated it. Of course when I started watching it was around 97 when only Nick jr was on during the morning and I was already too old for Nick Jr.

Little Bear is a very good show. However, like Jacques, I'm more of a Franklin fan. I will every now-and-then watch an episode (of both) on Noggin. :)

So many great memories of this show, i was around 10-11 when it came on but i didn't care. I always loved the Nick Jr programs of that time. Of course i rarely got to see it at the time because i had school lol, but many a great day home from school got filled with little bear and gullah gullah island. Might have to make some tomato soup and watch it on demand, nostalgia!

I used to love watching that show as a 90s kid. Though I watched it only during school vacation/holiday breaks or when I was sick.

It's pretty hard to forget. The ads for the toothbrush/paste still airs to this day.

That's true. It actually surprises me that they still use Little Bear for those ads since they could probably use a different character that's more recent for preschoolers today.
Anyway, I remember watching this show when it was on Nick Jr. It was fun since I also was a fan of the books. It was a cute show and I remember watching it with my mom. If I had Noggin, I'd probably still watch it along with other preschool shows every now and then. Ah memories.

As two others posted above me, I was (and still am) more of a Franklin fan.
However, when my brother was much younger, I did watch this a lot and thought it was cute.

I could never really get into “Franklin”, but “Little Bear” rocked. Cat was awesome. I haven’t seen the series in years, but I still recall many episodes clearly and I think I’d still enjoy watching the series even now. However, I think that my favorite Nick Jr. cartoon was “Oswald”.

Watched this a lot, although not as much as Blue's Clues. Unfortunately my most vivid memory of the show seems to be the less-than-great direct-to-video movie...
