Tonight at 7:00 PM EasternWhen “Surf’s Up” was released, it wasn’t really discussed that much on Toon Zone. Its talkback thread at the time only received six replies… However, I thought that the movie was actually pretty good – despite its many clichés – so I figured it deserved another talkback thread so that people might actually discuss it this time. Besides, how often is it that Cartoon Network airs a movie that is actually sort of good? This certainly beats “Son Of The Mask”. Try to keep spoilers out of this thread until after the movie ends, as I’d be willing to bet that a lot of people have never seen this one.

Never saw this film. Heard it was good, but was unfortunately lost in between all the other penguin movies that came out at the time.

I have this movie on DVD, and it's definately worth watching if you haven't already seen it. It has a really good, though cliche, story, and a lot of funny parts. Plus, it has really good animation and some nice designs.

It's a pretty good movie. Definitely worth checking out a second time. Finally Cartoon Network airs a good animated movie.

I loved this movie when I first saw it. I really wasn't expecting much, and honestly didn't even want to see it.

But I'm glad I did. It really stands out from all the other penguin movies, and is truly funny and entertaining. Glad it's airing on The Flicks. A good, animated movie... awesome to hear!

That scene has always been in my Top 5 from the movie.

"Oh, crap!"

"Go on, dude! She called you crap!"

I just hope they don't over air it.
That would be BAAAAAD.

I expected them to edit the "Oh, crap!" line. I was expecting them to just say "Oh...!" and without the "She called you crap!" part in the next sentence. I hope they don't air this movie too much...Or we'll be seein' some stupid edits.

Mmmm Haven't seen it yet. I need to find the reruns for this movie :(
