View Full Version : Don't fear failure
I think everyone has this type of fear.
Fear of not winning.
Fear of not be successful.
Fear of losing.
I'm not talking about things you can brush off like that. I'm talking about something you really work hard on. Something you always want.
Failing is what we are all fear of. And it does get in the way of doing things we want to do. Because none of us don't want to feel pain; to lose.
But when failure does get into us, there's so many ways how to take it. Some get up and work harder, most give up and quit.
But failure can teach us something. Even though it hurts, but we can over come it.
Keep moving. Even if you lose, keep moving.
Failure is a life lesson we will all get, even if we don't want it in the first place.
Don't fear failure.
Sorry, every once in a while, I get deep in these things. :D

You can never fail if you don't accept failure. The difference between Heaven and Earth is not one of altitude, but attitude.

I'll stick with the Homer Simpson approach: "You tried your best, and failed miserably. The lesson here is never try."

That's what I thought this thread was going to be about LOL.
That was a very inspirational video, it always mesmerized me whenever I saw it as a kid. It's still good to watch today.

This is a good lil' reminder for me to read, as well as watching the video. Fear of faliure is something that's been holding me back for too long!

There's nothing to fear but fear itself.
And OJ
And Godzilla
And crime
And economic misfortune
And food shortages
And environmental catastrophes
And natural disasters
And accidents
And chemicals in our food supply
And disease
And ticks
And the innumerable parasites that live in the human body, some of which are in or on your body right now
And getting old.
And the fact that your kids might put you in a home.
And improperly tested drugs
And pointless war
And the people who enjoy starting pointless wars
And rogue states led by madmen that have nuclear weapons
And our own aging nuclear and chemical weapons, stuff that makes the wildest dreams of rogue dictators looks small
And terrorism for causes you don't even understand
And reality television
And your dependence on television
And the internet
And big corporations that want to own you as an asset
And the government
And liberals
And conservatives
And religion
And atheism
And the fact that anybody who wants one, no matter how unhinged, can get a gun and shoot you, yes, you, with it for no good reason
And the fact that every time someone uses Purell they're causing viruses to mutate to a new and more deadly strain
And that crazy mofo who sits across from you on the bus. You know the one. With the crazy eyes. Yeah, he will stab you.
I may have left a few out, but, for the most part, nothing to worry about. :)
