I don't want to say I told you so... but... what the heck... I TOLD YOU SO! :D

***I think blade1225 brings up a good point. Which is why I think the JL shouldn't be crammed together in every episode. Leave it to two or three, at most, and bring them all together for the bigger threats. That way the best moments are saved for the best events, where all of them have to come together and work elbow-to-elbow like "Secret Origins." With having two or three in an episode (complete hour), you give each character their moment to shine, and you don't have to worry too much about powering down anyone, especially Superman.
Superman is a powerhouse of his own. He's got braun, brains, and class... and having him compromise that because other characters need to put in their two-cents to contribute to the team... it just doesn't work well. The same goes for the rest of the JL. Batman is more than brains, Flash is more than arrogance, GL is more than a militant leader, etc. Squeezing all of the JL together robs them of that.***
The following contains spoilers on "The Brave and the Bold." Don't read on if you haven't seen it. You've been warned!
On to my thoughts on "The Brave and the Bold." What an awesome episode. Flash and GL played off each other very well and I'm glad just the two of them starred in this story. Only being half an episode, each character is showing their best assets. Which brings me to my point, that 2 or 3 characters should be presented at a time... and look at the reaction from the official thread. Everyone seems to like it and they're not complaining about where the rest of the JL is.
I'm glad Dini was back for this one. This is a momumental moment for JL. Was it such a coincedence that this episode was favorably great and Dini was on this project??? Bringing me to my other point... IMO Dini deserves a bit more credibility in the creative aspect because he knows how to "play" with the characters and write them. Timm may be the designer, but it takes a good story to keep the ball rolling.
Overall, this was an episode that leaves little room for criticism. It had action, humor, character development, team-interaction between GL and Flash, and a good story. Watching the previews, I was a bit skeptical. The talking Ape thing just didn't seem appealing... but it turned out to be a great episode and I didn't seem to find the Ape's to be as corney as I may've thought. I hope part 2 is just as enjoyable.
BTW, I also experienced the few seconds of blackness when Flash was chasing the truck in the beginning of the episode! What was up with that???
