Darkhawk

Anyone else remember Marvel's Darkhawk?

He debuted about 10 yrs ago. Wore a dark, metallic battlesuit powered by an amethyst crystal (if I remember correctly). He had a good run for a while: guest-stars including Spider-man, the Hobgoblin, & Venom, perhaps the Punisher.

I still have the first few issues.
It'd be neat if DC picked up the rights and introduced him to CN's JL.

and batman would *OWN* dh unless he pulled the helmet trick


he was a very cool character-- they got a little out of hand with all his new powers etc @ the end but over all it had a nice 50 issue run

Is he the one who had the unspeakably grotesque face that made anyone recoil? I read a few issues and remember it being pretty good. Wasn't his archenemy called EvilHawk (or something similar)?

I remember Darkhawk. He was a cool Marvel character.

Yeah I too have a few Darkhawk ish's and think he could be a strong character if revised. They should pull half obscure peeps into Justice League, like Darkhawk, and Silver Surfer dammit!

Wait wrong universe. Marvel needs some strong TV toon offerings, and while XMEN Evolution is , uh well, there, they could really do better, I never liked Spiderman or like any of the Marvel toons now that I think about it other than the 1st XMEN toon from early 90s. Lameness, get on the Ball Marvel!
