Metropolis (Fritz Lang 1927 silent film)

Is the Enno Patalas cut of this film available anywhere? It was done in the mid-80s, and all I can find are the 2002 restoration and the Moroder version.

I'm amazed you were able to find the G. Moroder version. That movie is an extremely hard to find in any version. If you don't mind me asking, where did you locate the G. Moroder version? I just read on Wikipedia that a version may come available later this year, but I take certain items on Wikipedia with a grain of salt.

Moroder's version is redundant several times over. After Koerber completes work reintegrating that 16mm print of the complete version of the film (aside from one scene that is damaged beyond repair) that they found in Argentina into the 2002 Preservation Negative then we should have the longest version possible.

Definitely by 2010.

I just enjoy having alternate cuts of films that I enjoy. I'm looking at eventually owning Moroder, Patalas, 2002 Restoration, and eventually, the new "complete" restoration.

But I still can't figure out if the Patalas cut was ever even released. Does anybody know?
